I choose this website because I really like how everything is set up and that it is
really easy to use. It is also colorful and it has a lot of practice problems that students can
use. There are several advantages of using this website. The first advantage is that this
website is not only designed for Math teachers, but also for Social Studies, Science, and
Language Arts teachers. Every single subject matter offers various skills from pre- kinder
through twelve grade. In regards to Math, it is from pre-kinder through eighth grade and
includes Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre- Calculus. All contents offer so many
skills, where students can use it to practice and it will also track their score of the
students. I was able to try Algebra 1 and I

As I mentioned before, it will help teachers to
know how the students are doing. Overall, this is a really good website to include into
teaching once in while.
Second Website: Aplus Math

I choose this website because it is very simple and offers several things that can
be included into teaching. This website offers worksheets for addition, subtraction,
multiplication, fractions, algebra, and geometry. This is an area that could be improved
since there are only few worksheets available. Of course, there are good worksheets that
can be used during instruction, but there should be more. Aplus Math also provides
flashcards for basic operations. Again, this website need to have more flashcards for
other concepts too. This is a weak feature and another area that could be improved.
Another advantage for using this website is that it also provides bingo and memory
games for basic math. Unfortunately, this website needs to improve a lot in several
things. As you can see, I was able to write more for IXL learning because it offers so
many things. On the other hand, Aplus Math is just a simple website where teachers
When students finish the whole set of the fraction cards, the teacher will provide them with an answer sheet and they will flip box by box and self-check their work.
Because of the task asking the program being on arithmetic skills for primary school aged students the questions should be basic such as being on; addition, subtraction and multiplication.
Ching... ching... ching. The sound of metal hitting rock echoed through the valley. Barely drowning out the men in chains singing about days gone by. But the men watching did not hear the shaking of one other chain the chain of three. This is the beginning of the movie O Brother where Art Thou . The movie was made in the early 2000’s. The movie’s story is an interpretation of the Odyssey, an epic made by the Greek writer Homer. The movie’s interpretation of events in the Odyssey can be obvious or even obscure. Whether it be the hero, monsters, and the manipulators.
The Mathematics section is based on a variety of topics but is very basic and ideally should have been taught by class 6. These constitute interpretation of charts and tables, prime and square numbers, area and perimeters and other categories which can be seen from the link posted below.
The United States revolution is one of the most iconic events in not just American, but world history. So when performing research on a platform as vast as the internet, proper precautions must be taken. A well designed and thorough web evaluation should be done to ensure the credibility and integrity of the website’s content. Certain Criteria involve who authored the website, when the website was created, when it was last updated, who the website was intended for, what types of resources the website offers, and the sites overall value to the reader.
The students will start a math lesson working on XtraMath quiz to practice previous concept before moving on to new lesson.
In order to improve my instructional practices, I analyzed instructional data from district math diagnostic and proficiency assessments. The most recent assessment assessed student’s abilities to count, add and subtract, and their understanding of place value. My students scored below not only the other first grade students at the school, but also all first grade students in the district. 81.6% of my students could count, read, and write numbers to 120. This was an improvement from their diagnostic assessment. However, only 66.7% could relate counting to addition and subtraction, and only 45% demonstrated understanding of place value in two digit numbers.
My favorite elementary grade was 2nd grade so I chose a lesson and activity for this grade off of UEN.ORG Website. The standard is that students should be able to add and subtract within 20 using mental strategies by the end of 2nd grade. Students should also know from memory all sums of two one-digit numbers.
a. Does the church have an organized accountability program? If so, what does it look like? Yes. Accountability is done through small groups and various ministries.
The election recount of 2000 between George W. Bush and Al Gore happened after the unclear results of the presidential election. The recount was only in the state of Florida and was first only for four counties until the Florida Supreme Court decided for a recount of the whole state. This was one of the most controversial elections ever, even all five major news networks made the mistake of assuming all of Florida's polls closed at 7:00 pm, all five reported incorrect information. Another controversy were the acts of the Florida Supreme Court, they went received heavy criticism from republicans claiming they were ruling towards al gore.
-The student will be able to evaluate, and analyze the given information to solve mathematical word problems.
As a student, I always enjoyed math. In high school I took all of the offered math classes, including Calculus. The first math class I took in college was a breeze, and I thought that this one would be no different. What could I learn about elementary school math that I did not already know? Contrary to my expectation, the first day of class, I learned things about math that had never been brought to my attention. This paper will discuss what I have learned about subtraction, about students, about the Common Core State Standards, and how my concept map has changed since my first draft.
Mexico is one interesting country to learn about. You my ask why because of the beautiful view.Plus the nice blue waters on the beach. The tasty food is something else. The different culture. Also all the fun attractions which you will learn about later.
The lack of adopted curriculum also means that most, if not all, teachers are supplementing both materials and instructional routines. These students need to pass the state-mandated Smarter Balanced Assessment (SBA) which requires completion of a problem-solving performance task. Students need to know which operation(s) to use (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division) and how to apply them appropriately. This problem has
From kindergarten to the beginning of 1st grade, the math topic that is worked on is addition and subtraction. According to the Texas Education Association, in kindergarten adding and subtraction
