Macbeth Change Throughout The Play

The Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare explains how a person can show their true character upon their goal. In this story there is a nobleman named Macbeth that seeks for thriving kingship ever since he got manipulated and mind washed . Macbeth’s decision was to listen to the prophecies of the witches to become king. Doing so changed Macbeth's personality and way of thought, leading him to make inferior decisions to stay as king and showing how someone's objective can lead to life changing conclusions.

Macbeth is a very disturbing and dramatic story. Throughout the play, more and more unfortunate events happen to the characters. This plays into the very dark and dreadful feeling of the whole story. The felling also brings dark and even true to life themes within the story.

In the play Macbeth, by William Shakespeare, the character Macbeth plays the role as the main character throughout the play. Macbeth receives a promise from three witches that tell him he will become king of Scotland. During the course of the play, Macbeth faces many struggles, both mentally and physically. He also meets people that do not like him as king. Throughout the play, Macbeth’s actions are controlled by the emotions of paranoia, guilt, and confidence.

How Macbeth's Character Changes throughout the Play In this essay I would be looking at Macbeth’s character on how he changes throughout the play and to base this evidence on weather he was a tyrant or a tragic hero. The play focuses on the changing character of Macbeth and his increasing greed for power. Many factors contribute to the changes to Macbeth throughout the play which cause the character to deteriorate from a man with nobility and good intentions to one who is ruled by ambition and greed.

Lady Macbeth might be one of the most arguably interesting and complex character in the play. She is the missing piece to the puzzle. Without her, there would not be a production at all. Removing Lady Macbeth is equivalent to removing Mary Jane from Spiderman. The plot would absolutely change and make no sense. Some of the actions Macbeth makes revolves around the critical thinking of Lady Macbeth. To which, the action pivots around her. Lady Macbeth plays a crucial role in the story of Macbeth, without her, there is no play.

In the play The Tragedy of Macbeth by William Shakespeare, it starts off describing Macbeth as a loyal thane of Glamis and very loyal to his king. Throughout the okay, he will transform from this loyal warrior to a very evil, power hungry tyrant. He did not reach this transformation alone however, there were a few ugly sisters who helped with this transformation. Obviously the three witches that are introduced in the beginning play a major role in what Macbeth and his wife Lady Macbeth would do throughout the play.

I might want to begin with Lady Macbeth. In the play her character emerges a long ways past the rest. A portion of the character portrayals of Lady Macbeth are as per the following:

Macbeth displays three character traits one is ambitious. Macbeth is an example of terrible ambitious and guilt can have on a man who lacks of character. Through the play they make it seem like macbeth is a evil person. His character shows that he is not very strong. The beginning of the play macbeth is introduced as loyal and trustworthy warrior.

When stress is happening people tend to change due to what’s going on around them. Shakespeare’s play Macbeth shows a lot of character changes throughout the play. Macbeths wife, Lady Macbeth ends the play being more sympathetic where as in the beginning of the play you see her being cruel for helping the planning of killing King Duncan to help make Macbeth king. Macbeth ends up killing King Duncan and ends up being crowned king. Macbeth worries that Banquo, the Thane of Cawdor, will suspect that Macbeth killed Duncan because Banquo was with Macbeth when Macbeth received the prophecy from the three witches explaining that Macbeth will be king.

Macbeth is a violent tragedy written by William Shakespeare. The play begins with a loyal and honorable hero of Scotland named Macbeth. However, his character changes throughout the play. The witches’ prophecy and Macbeth’s vaulting ambition drive him to break his oath of allegiance and murder King Duncan.

Each of these choices sends Macbeth closer to exploding. Due to the inner struggles Macbeth faces he undergoes a personality shift, he goes from wanting to be king because he truly believes he could be the land's best ruler and could benefit the people, to having selfish reasons for power, such as feeding his own ego. His thirst for power, and not caring who he has to take down in order to achieve that power are what result from Macbeth’s inner combat. These inner struggles also create an unhealthy amount of paranoia inside of Macbeth due to his morals of right and wrong and him throwing away those doctrines in order to succeed in becoming king. When Macbeth is unable to maintain his character, his belief systems change rapidly from one end of the spectrum to the other end. William Shakespeare demonstrates how the characteristics of being brave, ambitious, but also self-doubting lead to a struggle of dominance and lead a person to insanity, rotting their brains, and making it hard to stay true to who they are while still getting what they desire; likewise,

Macbeth, is a story which is full of deception, greed and karma. This story will thrill the audience's minds and will also teach them about life.

The general argument made by Shakespeare in Macbeth is everything has consequences. More specifically, Shakespeare argues that Macbeth, the character, has many character changes. These changes were mainly by force from others and the ambition from himself. Macbeth goes from being known for his honor and bravery to being known as a devious, brutal killer.

In Macbeth by William Shakespeare, there is a great amount of disorder due to one character’s ambitions. Macbeth is this character, and he lets his want for the throne take over him, leaving a trail of blood behind him. Macbeth’s character changes drastically from the beginning, to the end due to his ambition taking over him, giving the story a plot and much character interaction.

About the Play: In 1606, William Shakespeare wrote a play, Macbeth, which has gone down in history as one of the best tragedies ever written. It is known to be the shortest and bloodiest tragedies of Shakespeare. The simplest way of explaining the plot would be to say that it is a story of a man urged by his wife, and foretold by prophesy, to commit murder in order to gain power….a plan which fails, with tragic consequences. But more specifically, it is a classic tale of the down fall of a tragic hero, due to a flaw in his nature, that of overwhelming ambition.
