Ludwig van Beethoven Did you know that I wrote music that people called godly like or out of the world? I wrote a lot of music that was very recognizable and very pleasing to the ear. I am by far the greatest composer in all of history. I wrote music that people loved and enjoyed. I, Ludwig van Beethoven, had a very tough childhood, however my determination with music helped me become a worthy notable, write the most recognized music in the world, and be the greatest composer in all of history. Birth, Childhood, and Teenage Years I was born in Bonn, Germany, December 16, 1770. Since as a matter of law and custom, babies were baptized within 24 hours of birth, December 16 is my most likely birthdate. However, I mistakenly believed that I was born two years later, in 1772, and I stubbornly insisted on the incorrect date even when presented with official papers that proved beyond any reasonable doubt that 1770 was my true birth year. I have been practicing piano and keyboard when I was only 4 years old. I didn’t have a very happy childhood; my dad abused me. People loved my music so much; they would make speeches about me and even makes biographies and talk about my life. During the 1700s and the 1800s, musicians were considered servants and useless. (3) Because of me and other great musicians such as Mozart, musicians are very valuable and well-known. When I was deaf I knew my life wasn't going to last, so I made as much music as I possibly could to ensure great success. It worked about perfectly and I was very happy. In the documentary Blackfish, many different types of film techniques are used throughout the film. As the film begins within the first minute or so the viewer is presented with haunting music and a pitch black screen white while audio of numerous calls that are being made to the police about an orca who has eaten a trainer at SeaWorld. The film puts viewers on edge by using the dark background and music and the call between the dispatcher and a SeaWorld trainer. While an underwater video is being played of an orca the audience is led to believe that they will see an orca which will attack a SeaWorld trainer, but then we soon find out it is just a show between a trainer and an orca. After reading Beethoven’s testament, I have more of an understanding of what he was and had to go through due to his deafness. Different from the Baroque style a symphony expressed multiple moods because of the movements used in a symphony making it more “real”.
