Liberty Plaza Management Corporation was established in 1996 in order to control, manage and administer the common elements of the Liberty Plaza Condominium Complex which was one of the first shopping malls of Sri Lanka.
With a humble beginning with the minimum resources Liberty Plaza Management was capable of getting into the hearts and minds of its customers whilst winning them as most wonderful clients of Liberty Plaza Complex.
In 1997 Liberty Plaza Management started the project of the car park for Liberty Plaza Condominium Complex with the control of the operations.

Science of Organizational Behavior is applied in Nature. Throughout the history it has been developed with the above contributory studies and also the theories, so that with the effect of the same behavior of a person could be judged accordingly.
For an example Politics makes the feeling of empowerment of a person which effects to its behavior. Behavior of a person links with the culture of the organization. The particular individual with a higher self esteem can affect the organizational culture and the same could not be controlled with its behavior which will result in less productivity of the organization.
As shown above the studies of Psychology, Sociology, Political science and anthropology have contributed its theories for the development of Organizational Behavior.

On October 11, 2000 The Ritz-Carlton was on the eve of opening Washington DC’s first luxury hotel in 10 years. The 300 room hotel was part of a $225 million complex owned by Millennium Partners. This would be the first hotel opened of a six hotel deal between Millennium Partners and The Ritz-Carlton. Millennium Partners owned the properties and The Ritz-Carlton was hired to operate the hotels. After only seven days of training the 400 person staff would open the doors the next morning.

This paper is an analysis that gives the concepts presented by John P. Kotter’s, “The Heat of Change”, book and the concepts presented by Ivancevich, Konopaske, and Matteson’s, Organizational Behavior and Management text book. Kotter wrote and gave comparative situations on dealing with human behavioral and how to better manage them when presented in an organizational situation. He gave real life stories of events that happened in organizational situation. Kotter showed how the employees and team members became motivated and how they overcame obstacles in his book.

Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) is a vital part of the success of a company. The employee’s thoughts and actions even considering culture are thoroughly analyzed. This idea allows managers to improve not only individual behavior but also group dynamic performances/interactions and workers safety. This theory is considered as a science of the behavior of each employee. The history of OBM started in the 1900’s, with the strong influence of Skinner and Watson. Scientific Behavior began in the workplace, following the applications of behavioral principles to instructional design. Frederick Taylor, another innovative manager was a huge supporter of the scientific method being presented and utilized. Three main areas of OBM application include: Performance Management, Behavioral Systems Analysis, and Behavior-Based Safety. Inside of each area, there are key points to consider. Some would be leadership, decision making, team building, motivation, and job satisfaction. In short, OBM is the study that reviews how organizational structures are an aftermath within companies.

No two individuals are likely to behave in the same manner in a particular work situation. It is the predictability of a manager about the expected behavior of an individual. There are no absolutes in human behavior. It is the human factor that is contributory to the productivity hence the study of human behavior is important. Great importance therefore must be attached to the study.
