Learning Journal Unit 3 Term 2 BUS1101(02.12.2015)
I started my Unit 3 on Thursday 26th of November at 12.00 o’clock noon Jerusalem time, by reading the learning guide, the assignments, instructions and the reference pdf pages as well. I also submitted my learning journal unit 2 the same day, which I got an excellent grade and the usual encouraging comments from my professor, I always thank him for his help to persuade my course. On Friday 27th of November 2015, I started reading the learning guide unit 3 Chapter 8 - pdf file pages192-203, Chapter 9- pdf file pages 214-225, in order to answer the next questions like discussion forum, written assignment and learning journal as usual. On 28th of November 2015 (Saturday) I started preparing the discussion forum answer and finished writing around midnight, prepared to submit Sunday on 29th of November 2015. I submitted my discussion forum on Sunday 29th of November 2015. Monday and Tuesday November 2015 I was reading most of the chapters, but I could not finish all time challenged me as usual. On Tuesday 01.12.2015 I completed writing my assignments of written assignment and Learning journal. Checking once more I submitted all the answers on Wednesday. I also did my Unit 3 self quiz and Grade quiz on Wednesday

My country is Ethiopia, and I used to work at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE). Based on my experiences during this time, I can say that the business culture at the CBE is a good representation of the business culture in Ethiopia. “Tragedy of the Commons” means is a situation within a shared-resource structure where people act by themself without thinking about the common good used by others by depleting that resource through their action because of their own selfish gain.
The title of the text was about “One Summer Night” and Henry Armstrong who have died and was buried but did not believe that he has dead. This is was because that he was a hard man to convince (Bierce, 2010). However, he was not dead but “he was only very, very ill.” (Bierce, 2010). As it was a dark summer three people two college students and the other was a big negro who was known as Jess and he was working in cemetery (Bierce, 200). Therefore, three people tried to take Henry’s body out from the grave and when they open the grave Henry Armstrong sat up and hence, the three people were so scared and so they all fled on to a different direction.
Every organization has values and beliefs that define what they do and how they do things in the organization. In this course, we learned about the importance of communication what the process is involved to effectively get your point across whether it be to co-worker or on general. Add this to a business setting poor communication can cause the company to lose money, and waste of time from their employees add poor listening skill you have a disaster in the making. After taking the self-assessment test on communication scored 50, which translate of to me capable communicator, but sometimes experience communication problems. The test says I should take the time to think about my approach to communication, along with focusing on receiving messages effectively, as much as sending them. I could not agree more, always had issues commutations my thoughts properly. However, this is more seen in writing skills then speaking or conversation. Thought the score would have been lower but 50 is more on the higher scale, ever taking the test another day scored about the same. This is going
