Learning Readiness Survey
A strength noted in the results of the survey, was my technology skills. I am very familiar with computers, having been around them for most of my life. I am fairly tech savvy not needing any help with navigating folders, and knowing where to look to find things. Throughout the course, I will be certain to utilize the ITS Help Desk for any issues that I do run into. I have no problem with asking for the help. I would rather ask then waste time trying to figure it out, ending with me not being able to complete the task.

This is a great question, I think determining practice readiness is important in health care and in order to successfully implement strategies that will aid in the growth of health care practitioners for practice readiness is important. Looking at the numerous literature that discusses the different challenges that may reflect practice readiness in the nursing profession is often referred to the fact that new nursing graduates are not sufficiently prepared to enter the workforce. In addition, organizations may not be providing sufficient support to those whom are not clinically practice ready. In my organization, there is a great amount of general orientation and a mentoring program which allows the new graduate to have the one-to-one support.
With enough funding from donations and fundraisers constructing a life readiness class can be enabled. Adolescence are having trouble financing remaining a student. This class will help scholars on how to adequately manage their decisions. With the life readiness class it will inform students the fundamentally of paying bills, filling taxes, and managing money. All of these are abilities which I have been accumulating over the past semesters at Blinn and were further catapulted by this project in particular. Through this project I have been able to develop these skills to become more proficient in my degree and future studies.
Dr. Conery reported that CFSD used multiple types of assessments to inform instruction and measure subject area mastery of content and skill. The data is used to inform instruction, evaluate programming, and improve achievements. She provided a report of CFSD’s aggregate which was released last week for Arizona’s Measurement of Educational Readiness to Inform Teaching (AzMERIT), which is an assessment test, used to examine growth in performance, each AzMERIT test is aligned to Arizona’s academic standards and measures progress toward readiness for college and career pathways.
