David Rosenberg once stated that “hope is a tree sitting on a mountain where the grass don’t grow ” . This quote relates to Macbeth because he hopes things that never lasts forever even if he tries no matter way . Lady Macbeth influenced Macbeth to carry out evil activities. To illustrate , Lady Macbeth influenced Macbeth because she was greedy for kingdom of Scotland . In act 1 scene 7 it shows how Macbeth will fight for crown which he pledges to have or he lives as a coward.Lady Macbeth tells Macbeth “ Are you afraid to act the way you desire?,will you take the crown you wanted so badly or live as coward ” . regarding this quote clearly shows us how lady Macbeth is making fun of Macbeth to make sure Macbeth proves himself as to kill Duncan
What a kind man Banquo is, always looking out for the interest of others. Too bad he won’t be around much longer to continue doing so. He must be killed. It is the only way to protect my throne. Banquo may be my friend and my trusted colleague and he is a good, noble man but he is a threat to me. His living will lead to my demise. The prophecy the witches predict, knowing that he will father a long line of kings if he lives, leaves me frozen in fear. I have no heir to the throne, I have no one. I know that Banquo suspects that I killed Duncan, I can tell by the way he acts around me. He is tense and uneasy. He isn’t wrong to be. But if he speaks of his suspicion that I murdered Duncan, my rule will surely be at risk.
This significant quote is said by Macbeth to Lady Macbeth shortly after the murder of Banquo. Macbeth realizes he has a large amount of blood on his hands from murdering others and compares it to being in a pool of blood. He believes he is so far into this bloody path that it would be troublesome to turn back and rather he continues to kill people (III. iv. 136-138).
Fate and prediction have played a big part of Macbeth and has persuaded him to become evil and the “Brave” Macbeth had died out as soon as he meets the witches’ and they tell him that his fate is to become the thane of Cawdor and soon become king; “All hail, Macbeth hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!” “All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!”. Macbeth does not know yet that the Thane of Cawdor had betrayed the king and went against him also he is being stripped of his Thaneship and is being executed, so he was surprised when the witches’ said that. Macbeth at first did not believe in his fate but when he gets the rob to be Thane of Cawdor he starts to believe his fate and then his mind skips to becoming king and killing Duncan this shows
A guilty king: The crash of thunder, chanting prophecies, and untold murder. Rumors have spread that the well-trusted king Duncan has been slain, and the heavy burden of this guilt rests on no other than Macbeth. “The Tragedy of Macbeth” by William Shakesphere is a story about how Macbeth and his friend Banquo encounter three witches, who tell them that Macbeth will be king. Macbeth acts on his prophecy and kills King Duncan. Then murders others with the help of hired murderers who swear secrecy to their new king, Macbeth.
Multitudinous seas, incarnadine, crimson tide flowing through the pages of Macbeth reveals themes of gore, murder, and the feelings brought on by these actions. Throughout the play, the characters are haunted by the sight of blood that results from the consequences of their actions, and they constantly try to clear their conscience. In Macbeth, there exists a recurring symbol of blood representing guilt, paranoia, and regret. First of all, Macbeth himself always sees blood on his hands, even if it’s not there, which shows guilt. Secondly, Macbeth sees Banquo with blood covered locks after he was murdered, which shows paranoia.
One interpretation of the text is that Lady Macbeth and Macbeth's relationship is not adherently abusive as she is seen as pushing Macbeth so he can strive to be his best self. For example in Macbeth, Lady Macbeth gives a soliloquy after opening Macbeth's letter, where she proclaims, "thy nature; it is too full o' th' milk of human kindness." (1.5.4). In the context of a non-abusive relationship, the quote relays the message that Lady Macbeth would help Macbeth to become the king of Scotland as he wants to receive the crown fairly. That because Lady Macbeth wants to help her husband she's portrayed as a loving wife which negates any possible in the relationship.

Because Macbeth lusts for more and more power, he makes bad decisions and actions which shows that lust for power leads to corruption. In the play Macbeth, Macbeth murders King Duncan in order to become king and accumulate more power, which connects with the thematic idea of corrupting influence of power. When MacDuff is talking to Lennox after he finds out that King Duncan was murdered he says “O horror, horror, horror!/ Tongue nor heart cannot conceive nor name thee!”. In the quote Macduff yells “O horror, horror, horror!”(add more context which leads into analysis, and why does macduff feel that way)
Aspiration, the sentiment energy that as a rule is driven by progress. For Macbeth aspiration was what took him from getting to be something incredible and constrained him to fiendish courses coming about to his ruin. Since the destruction of Macbeth it drives individuals to ponder "is Macbeth a respectable man on a basic level who was deceived into settling on choices that prompt his ruin". In the start of the play, Macbeth was found in others eyes as a gallant fighter who had battled for his lord without kindness or any inquiries asked however once the witches arranged the seeds of more noteworthy things and woman Macbeth energized his desire, which prompt him to wind up eager and power hungry. Macbeth was driven down to a certain street of fate by an outside power, to be specific destiny in type of the three witches
Nothing comes easy; with hard work and dedication, this will guarantee a great outcome of one’s goal. The “ The tragedy of Macbeth” by William Shakespeare all started when the witches have told that Macbeth will become the thane of Cawdor and eventually King of Scotland. However, Lady Macbeth, made her husband kill the king, so Macbeth could be king and they had accomplished it. They had blamed the murder on the guards, who will be defenseless, as they will remember nothing. When Duncan’s death is discovered the next morning, Macbeth kills the guards.
(Flinging hands around self frantically) Get out, get out! Your voices merely annoy my conscience, let alone manipulate my emotions. (Pauses, grabbing and pulling on hair) Stop darkening my thoughts you satanic beasts from hell. The scrutiny behind my unlawful imaginings are yours to blame. That horrendous murderer seeks more than just power. He is greedy yet only deserves death. A death so powerful it awakens those slayed by his blade. (Picks up dagger) Breathe Duncan and his guards; give me the might of a pitiless man. On this night, King Macbeth will be torn away from his buoyancy and sent to hell! (Looking to ceiling as if talking to spirits) Bring back my strength, spirits, and rid me of this fragility! (Aggressively holding the dagger, suddenly realising her conscience taking over)
“I am going slightly mad” by Queen is a terrific representative of Act 3 of Macbeth. It show how the singer has gone crazy, which is exactly what is happening to Macbeth during this act. The singer declares, “I think I’m a banana tree, oh dear, I’m going slightly mad” (Queen) which shows exactly who senseless the person has become. The same is true with Macbeth when he cries, “If charnel houses and our graves must send / Those that we bury back, our monuments / shall be the maws of kites” (3.4.71-73).
In Medieval times women were viewed as innocent beings who must be controlled by the men in their family; however, in Shakespeare’s Macbeth a woman is the mastermind behind the start of several horrendous deeds. Lady Macbeth was a woman with determination. When it was prophesized that Macbeth would be king, Lady Macbeth wished that her husband would immediately be at her side so she “may pour [her] spirits in [his] ear” (1. 5. 25). Lady Macbeth wanted nothing less that Macbeth to be king. In order for Macbeth to ascend to the throne, it needed to be emptied of King Duncan. Macbeth was an ambitious man but he was not evil, he would not commit murder to gain the throne; therefore, Lady Macbeth took it upon herself to see her husband crowned king. By making Lady Macbeth the mastermind behind a murder, Shakespeare disputed the typical role of women which labeled them as innocent and harmless beings.
I think this metaphor really brings across to us how much this means to her. I don’t think Lady Macbeth will ever be truly happy again, unless Macbeth becomes King. Macbeth tells her that he is a brave man but if pushed to do something evil, he will become a monster, but Lady Macbeth attacks his ego by saying when he does it he will be so much more of ‘a man.’ Lady Macbeth makes him feel bad by telling him that if she swore to do something then she would rather have ‘dash’d the brains out’ of the ‘babe’ that milked her rather than go back on it.
Macbeth needed Lady Macbeth to do this, for without her, he would have continued to see the horrible act as something he shouldn’t do. In this regard, Lady Macbeth does this very well, she makes Macbeth see things in a different light, tells him how he is erroneous in his thinking and gets him to think how she wants him to. The following quote shows these domineering and manipulating qualities of hers quite well: “Art thou afeard/To be the same in thine own act and valor/As thou art in desire? Wouldst thou have that…/And live a coward in thine own esteem,/Letting ‘I dare not’ wait upon ‘I would’/Like the poor cat I’ the adage?” (1.7.43-49) This passage of Lady Macbeth also sums up her thoughts quite nicely: “What beast was’t it then/… made you break this enterprise…/when you durst do it, then you were a man,/…to be more than what you were, you would/Be so much more the man.” (1.7.53-57) Both of these quotations display Lady Macbeth’s thoughts about Macbeth: he is weak, and he must be a man, while she is strong and would do the murder without a thought. These thoughts clearly show how ambitious she is, and how determined she wants to influence Macbeth’s actions.
