Lady Macbeth Biography

Macbeth is looking forward to have so much money eventually being rich. He also wants to be respected from everybody. Macbeth wants everybody to see him as the greatest person ever. Eventually his wealth and respect will lead him to have power as a King. In reality when Macbeth became king nothing was like he excepted.

Macbeth was written by Shakespeare in 1603-1607. It was also written in the time of the reign of James I. at that time people believed in witchcraft and the supernatural. People also liked their violence. The Macbeth play is also called the Scottish play because to call it Macbeth could cause misfortune or bad luck for the actors.

This hopelessness that Macbeth is feeling shows the final result of his desire for power. He had worked to try to gain this power, and to find his instant gratification. All his hard work lead up to this point, where he has become an almost a different character than before. Macbeth’s desire for power lead him to his ultimate destruction. Through Macbeth’s need for instant gratification, one can see that the quest for power has destroyed his character, just as it would any man’s.

Macbeth is the main character in this Play, he is at the beginning a guy who seems emotionless and cold. He wants to be king and to have the ultimate power, he wants his wife to be happy and proud of him.To achieve all his goals he tries everything to become a friend of the king, duncan, and is really nice to him even thought he just has the ultimate power in his mind. After a while Macbeth is getting tired of always being nice and faking everything so his wife is trying to persuade him to keep doing everything to be king. Macbeth is getting help from three witches who set them all the thoughts about being king in his mind, with his wife many people want to convince him to kill duncan, so Macbeth is under a lot of pressure. At the end of the play when macbeth killed duncan and reached his goal to be king,he is really confident and full of himself what makes him think he can get anything and win everything, but when he fights against Mcduff his head got cut off and he dies.

First, is the Movie Macbeth, in the beginning, Macbeth gets confonted by three evil witches that are just bad news. These witches tell Macbeth what he is, “Thane of Cawdor, Thane of Glamis and then, The King herafter” (Casson, 1979). Which tells him he will be the king since the witches got the other two things right. Then Macbeth had to tell the information he got from the witches to his wife. Macbeth didn’t really want to kill King Duncan because he was like father to him, but by telling Lady Macbeth it persuaded Macbeth to kill King Duncan because he and she wanted the crown now. Lady Macbeth hosts a party with the king in her house and in the middle of the night she walks and takes a kitchen knife to stab King Duncan. This makes Malcolm and Donalbain flee to Ireland becuase their fauther, the king was killed. Then later on Macbeth kills his best friend Banquo because he knew to much and knew Macbeth had killed King Duncan, he then kills the wife and family of MacDuff to protect himself from losing the crown. Published in 1623, Macbeth, by William Shakespeare is a play about a courageous soldier, Macbeth, and his power-hungry wife, Lady Macbeth. Beginning with Macbeth receiving a mysterious prediction from three witches that he would become King of Scotland, but only if he was willing to commit the murder of his kinsman and ruler, Duncan. After letting his wife know of this prophecy, Lady Macbeth convinces her indecisive husband that if killing the King means he will take the throne then it must be done. Throughout Act Two, Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are scheming Duncan’s murder while creating the developing the themes of conscience and good versus evil.

Lady Macbeth is a very aspiring woman very determined to get what she wants and does not care how she gets it. Lady Macbeth is a very manipulative person who hungers for power and will do anything to get it and when she heard from Macbeth about the witches prophecy she knew she has to jump on the first chance there is to have the power she really wants. When Lady Macbeth was telling her husband about her plan for him to kill Duncan while he was staying at their home, and trying to convince Macbeth of the outcomes of killing Duncan Like Macbeth being king and Lady Macbeth being queen. William Shakespeare was a playwright born on 1564.There is several mysteries about this man. His actual date of birth is unknown. No one knows exactly where he was born, but he is believed to have come from the area of Stratford-On-Avon in England. What we do know is that he wrote plays which were popular then and are still popular now. Shakespeare wrote many types of plays such as dramas, comedies and tragedies. His plays continue to be performed today and several have been made into movies. Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet and Julius Caesar are some of these.

So he kills the king and becomes king. He has his best friend murdered, and goes mad from guilt. Goes and gets more predictions from the witches. He feels invincible. He kills the family of Macduff, them Macduff returns and kills Macbeth.

In the play, Macbeth is fighting for the king. On his way back from the battlefield he and his companion, Banquo, encounter three witches with a prophecy. The prophecy tells that Macbeth will be thane of Glamis, thane of Cawdor, and king. Macbeth and his wife are having the king king and other people over and while everyone is asleep Macbeth kills the king as he and his wife discussed and blamed it on servants. After Macbeth becomes the king, he does everything in his power to ensure that he stays king, including murdering Banquo and killing Macduff’s family. At the end of the play Macbeth’s self-confidence and ambition leads to him being killed by Macduff.

A messenger comes to tell Lady Macduff that something bad is about to happen to her and her family and her response is interesting. She says “I have done no harm. But I remember now I am in this earthly world, where to do harm Is often laudable, to do good sometimes Accounted dangerous folly” (lines 72-75 Macbeth 4:2) and I think we this was interesting to say because in this play even the good people gets messed up like the old king. Lady Macduff doesn’t flee and so the murderer comes into the castle and asks her where he is and of course she doesn’t know but her son insults the murderer and gets killed. They take Lady Macduff away and its interesting how the next scene is that Macduff walk on stage and Shakespeare dose this so perfect timing and that is one of his
