Lacrosse is an exciting and fast-paced sport with almost nonstop action from start to finish. The strategy is simple. Players move a ball down a field using sticks with nets on them. A goal is scored by hurling the ball past the other team’s goaltender into an upright net. Lacrosse is played at all levels of athletics. There are professional, amateur, and school teams, and there are scholarships for those who play it in college.

On what I have read about Tennyson I am not surprised by his reaction towards Brewsters help during his lacrosse games. The reason why I am not surprised by his reaction is because Tennyson loves to winn and is very competitive, so when he had Brewsters help he got upset because he thought that he was getting better as a player. Also Tennyson feels like he cheated in the lacrosse game. When he saw Brewster on his side in pain and that he was there at the game Tennyson got mad and felt super bad because he knew that Brewster was feeling his pain instead of hin feeling it. I think that Tennyson wants to feel his own pain, because he will know when the pain is too much and he can stop playing, but when Brewster is taking his pain he doesn't know

The nature of Lacrosse in the novel is exhibited as a violent, physical, and destructive sport. In the novel, the game “takes place in Wendaki” between the Huron and the Iroquois for Huron Confederacy (King). The game consists of two teams of five and is located in the forest. The surface and the environment of which Lacrosse is played is full with trees, tall grass, and rocks. It is a helpful article because it focuses specifically on an instance where girls do have to wear helmets. August 1st 2007 I was 9 years old and I had been playing football for 2 years, my coaches was head coach Paul and then there was the two assistant coaches my dad and coach Bill. When I was in Peewee football I was bigger than all the other kids I guess they haven’t had got bigger yet.

Football has been a relatively successful part of my life so far. Every team I have participated with has been quite fortuitous, but with only one team we won it all. When I played with MAMFA (Mountain Area Midget Football Association) my team went nearly the whole season without losing a game with a record of 11-1. We were the best team in the league. If we were the best however, why did we lose that game?

Native Americans, who founded lacrosse, didn’t use any form of protective gear. As this sport is still connected to it’s Native American roots today, there is a sense of responsibility among the lacrosse community to maintain respect for how the game was created and developed. Especially regarding the fact that women’s lacrosse has maintained a closer relationship with the its roots than men’s lacrosse. Most noticeably, the style of a women’s lacrosse stick is more similar to that used by Native Americans in that it does not contain the mesh pockets currently used in men’s lacrosse. Similarities also exist in the nature of the game. Modern men’s lacrosse is described as “a high-contact sport” in which “body and stick checks are permitted and players wear full protective gear including helmet with face guard, mouth guard, shoulder pads, arm pads and gloves,” according to Paul Diamond and Shawn Gale’s "Head injuries in men’s and women’s lacrosse: a 10 year analysis of the NEISS database" (537). Unlike modern men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse reflects the nature of “The Creator’s Game,” as referred to by many Native American tribes. What is lacrosse? Lacrosse is a really fun sport that makes fit and healthy. It was invented by a culture called the Native Americans. That was their game back then. And Konawaena has their own team and the coach is Coach Curran. I was one of the players in his team. And I think its was really fun to play in his team.

Growing up in a small farm town in Wisconsin, few people would thing that a future NCAA lacrosse player would be on the come up. This athlete would have some of the best coaches and the worst coaches in that the game had to offer and would drip all of the knowledge they had. This athlete even fewer would know that he had an idea of being a great lacrosse coach and inspire other athletes to reach for things that they never thought they could aspire to. This athlete is me and I come from Waunakee, Wisconsin which is a small football farm town that dose not have many NCAA athletes come from it and even fewer lacrosse players that play the sport in the area. Lacrosse may be the single most impactful force in my life. I have come to define myself through my involvement with the sport. I do not consider myself a natural athlete; I have had to work very hard to earn every achievement in lacrosse. For the past six years, I have continued to set my aspirations higher and increase my effort to achieve my goals. I have applied what I have learned from lacrosse to many other aspects of my life: I am now an A level student at one of the most academically rigorous high schools in the country, I am an active participant and in my school’s rock band, acapella group, and jazz band, and I am a committed member of my school’s wrestling team.

Lacrosse is the oldest team sport in North America, having been played by Native American tribes long before any European had even set foot on the continent. A century after European missionaries discovered the game played by Native Americans, they began to play it themselves, starting in the 18th century. From there, it evolved and grew in popularity from a very savage game that resembled war, into what it is today, a recreational sport played widely in America and other countries. As U.S. Lacrosse literature aptly puts it "Lacrosse is a game born of the North American Indian, christened by the French, adopted and raised by the Canadians, and later dominated by the Americans.”

Lacrosse is the most exciting sport to both watch and take part in due to the fact it requires so much skill with a lot of endurance and strength. The sport is also a way for people to get to know one another while having a blast. Lacrosse also gives players the opportunity to travel around the state and country. The sport is also very good for teenagers to develop life skills and goals. I personally played for ten years of my life and I encourage everyone to give it a try. Playing the sport brings many different health and mental benefits to the players. The sport gives people many new opportunities to meet people and have a great time.

Both Lacrosse and Ice hockey are two sports that share similar aspects. One example would be that they both require plenty of athletic prowess, as well as countless hours of training and practice to master. The high amount of contact in both sports enables a player to become both physically and mentally "tough". Lacrosse has grown to its highest level of popularity it has ever reached over the last ten years. Ice hockey has seen a steady climb in its popularity over the past 25 years making it one of the most popular sports in not only Long Island, but all across the U.S. However, there are many differences as well, and we should not overlook the fact that there are plenty of distinctions between the two
