In the NBA there are hundreds of good players. There are even fewer great players, but when talking about the Greatest Of All Time( G.O.A.T) only two names get brought up. The names that are named are Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan. In the past fans of the NBA said the Jordan was no doubt the G.O.A.T of the NBA, but in the last decade the argument that Bryant being better than Jordan has grown a tremendous amount.

Michael Jordan is the best player who has even competed in the NBA. In the course of 16 years Jordan has created a name for himself and has made history in the NBA. Michael Jordan has become the best player through, winning six championships, earning five MVP awards, and making himself a house hold name.
Kobe Bryant is undeniably one of the most dedicated, successful, and greatest basketball players to ever grace the NBA hardwood. He has achieved what many players only dream of doing, and his list of accolades could fill an entire book. This success did not come easy for Bryant, like I said before, his hard work and dedication to the sport of basketball is what made him a legend, that is looked up to by millions of people around the world.
Most people who are older than thirty will say that Michael is better only because they watched him play. Everyone under the age of 30 will say Lebron is better because they are watching him now. Those over 30 will say Michael is better only say it because they don’t want change. They don’t want to accept the fact that Michael is not the best to ever play the game of basketball. They often have the age old argument of “6 rings,” which is complete garbage. What does having more championships have to do with being a better overall basketball player? Having more championships only indicates the best team that year. If we take championships into the conversation, Bill Russell should be considered to be the best player ever because of his eleven rings, including seven straight with countless other accomplishments. Although this is impressive, we’re not talking about the most accomplished player ever but just straight up best to ever set foot on the hardwood. By my definition the best basketball player should be reliable, strong, athletic, and a team player. Someone who you can tell to go make a play and you know that he will do it.
Michael Jordan, in his prime, was thought of as one of the greatest basketball champions of all time. A shooting guard, standing at six-six, Jordan was able to out play anyone in his position. He started his career at the University of North Carolina, where he helped his team win a national championship. He then was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in the 1984-85 season. While playing for the Bulls, Jordan received many awards such as, MVP, five championships, Olympic gold medals, slam dunk contests, and many more defensive and offensive awards. Jordan simply dominated the nineties and left the game as a NBA Finals winner in 1998.
Michael Jordan is arguable the best basketball player who ever played the game. A phenomenal athlete with the unique combination of fundamental soundness, grace, speed, power, artistry, and an unquenchable competitive desire, Jordan single-handedly redefined the NBA superstar. The thing that separated Jordan from the rest of the all-time greats was his compulsive need to win. Jordan was and is still known for his intense competitiveness and will to win, but that has not translated to his ownership of the Charlotte Bobcats.
As it stands today, Kobe Bryant is the best basketball player to have ever played the game. Some argue that Michael Jordan was better, but he was not. Some argue that Lebron James is better, but he is not. To compare him to the men who played the center position is a waste of time. Obviously Shaquille O’Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar were more dominant. They were freaks of nature. What Kobe had that set him apart from everyone else was a skill set and mentality that is unmatched. Kobe is the best player first and foremost because he was a Los Angeles Laker for twenty years. Some may say that my bias towards Kobe as a Laker fan discredits my argument, but it does not.
Michael Jordan is considered to be the most iconic person in sports history. Since 2002, Lebron James has been compared not only to be the next Michael Jordan but also having the potential of being a better basketball player than him. Some basketball fans might agree and some might disagree, but at the end of the day everyone will have their own opinion of who is better than whom. Lebron James and Michael Jordan do have many things in common even though they play different positions in the national basketball association. They both can dominate the court with their leadership, their skills, and their strength. Surprisingly, there are just as many differences as there are similarities between the
Kobe Bryant is one of the top 10 people to ever pick up a basketball period. This is not something that is up for discussion. But his career is split into two parts. There is #8 and there is #24. The two are different in every way, but help make up what is Kobe.
Lebron James is considered the very best among many top players to ever play the game.
One Reason Michael Jordan is the best player ever in the NBA is his records. He has 12 NBA records and 17 Chicago Bulls records. He averages the most points during the regular season (30.1) and in the playoffs (33.4). He also is tied for most defensive first team selections of nine [michaeljordansworld.com.]
Westbrook is a well-known basketball player. If you ask most people, they will know who he is. He has made many accomplishments throughout his career. Over his eight years in the NBA he has scored a total of 1,514 points in 3,288 minutes. He also holds the record for the most triple doubles in a season with a total of 42.
32,292 points where scored in his entire career. That is a lot of points for one person to score. Many have been great but not great enough to top him. His early life was not probably like most imagine it, he did not even make the varsity team surprisingly. As years went by he would sky rocket to the top of the National Basketball Association and win many awards for his amazing athletic abilities.
When people think of NBA (National Basketball Association) greats many names come to mind like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Lebron James, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. But one name tops this list and that name is Michael Jordan. His skills are extraordinary with a unique style NBA fans have ever seen. He was and all-around legend who could score without giving any effort. He is the best defensive guard to walk the earth he has the best on-ball defense forcing steals and blocking people's shots with skills like this no doubt he's the Greatest of All-Time.
In addition to being one of the most efficient offensive point guards of all-time, Stockton is also considered one of the best defensive point guards
Many people think of two men when the question of who the best NBA player is of all time. Some may say Michael Jordan, and some may say Kobe Bryant. They are both insanely good and their statistics are extremely similar, but the statistics lean more towards Jordan. This is why Michael Jordan is better than Kobe in the sport they both love and care for dearly.
