As it stands today, Kobe Bryant is the best basketball player to have ever played the game. Some argue that Michael Jordan was better, but he was not. Some argue that Lebron James is better, but he is not. To compare him to the men who played the center position is a waste of time. Obviously Shaquille O’Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar were more dominant. They were freaks of nature. What Kobe had that set him apart from everyone else was a skill set and mentality that is unmatched. Kobe is the best player first and foremost because he was a Los Angeles Laker for twenty years. Some may say that my bias towards Kobe as a Laker fan discredits my argument, but it does not. First, a list of his accomplishments. Kobe was drafted out of highschool at the age of seventeen, broke into the league by winning the Slam Dunk contest in his rookie season, and by age of twenty-five he was a three time world champion. He was the youngest person to be named a NBA All-Star at the age of nineteen. The combination of his talents with the talents of Shaquille O’Neal was the greatest “one-two punch” of all time. That is an objective fact. Shaq himself has even admitted that had the duo stayed together after the 2004 season, they most certainly would have gone on to win additional world championships, but Kobe didn’t need Shaq. When it was all said and done, Kobe ended up with five rings to his name to O’Neals four - all five with the Lakers I might add. I won’t lie, Kobe’s days in
“By the end of the decade, O'Neal was a three-time member of the All-NBA Third Team and a two-time member of the All-NBA Second Team, and had earned a place on the All-NBA First Team. In 2000, O'Neal was named the NBA's “Most Valuable Player” (Biography). At this point, Shaq has shown that he is one of the best players in the league. These accomplishments truly show how good he was at basketball. After years of winning together, Shaq and Kobe
Kobe supporters will point out that he is a better player than LeBron because he earned and won more NBA championships than LeBron with 5. People may also argue Lebron has more finals MVPs, but in reality, it's the number of championships in the end that you have won and been a part of. Unlike Lebron, Kobe has more all-defensive team selections with 12 selections for defensive team all-NBA. According to the website, www.sportskeeda.com
Lebron James has once said, “You have to be able to accept failure to get better”. Lebron James has accomplished many things in his life. Lebron James is a NBA all star. He is know by “King James” and people usually think of him as the greatest basketball player in the world. I am going to be telling you about his accomplishments and his downfalls when he did not quit on himself.
Was LeBron James the cause of his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, to lose in the 2015 NBA finals against their rival, the Golden State Warriors? Some people would agree, while others would disagree with this topic. There are many reasons why people would blame LeBron James for losing the 2015 NBA Finals such as: they hate him, he think he is the better than anybody, and other reasons. The way I view this topic, I totally disagree for the simple fact that LeBron is not the cause of the Cavaliers lost. LeBron James out did everyone that was playing in the finals even though his team was not healthy.
If anybody had inspired Kobe I think it would have been his dad. His dad inspired him because when he saw his dad play it inspired him to work and play basketball too.(Biography)People want to be like him because they looked at his achievements and hard work .He inspires me because the stuff he did in his career was amazing. We bet you had the same reaction. After Bruce Jenner set his manliness aside, we figured it's anyone's guess who's next on the chopping block. Carmelo Anthony, known for his earth-shattering basketball skills and solid Olympic performances, seems to have a good head on his young shoulders. We dig further to discover the reason behind this investment.
Few months before, Kobe Bryant who is probably the most controversial player ended his 20-year basketball career. Experts made their comments about him which led to a dispute about whether he is the greatest player in 21st century. As a limitation, the players in 21st century means the players who spent most of his career in 21st century, which put Michael Jordan out of consideration. Hence, the range of the choices could be probably narrowed to three players: Tim Duncan, Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. Moreover, according to Dan Harriman, a professional writer mentioned, a great player is the one has his contribution on and off the court, which is also the reason Michael Jordon is generally considered as the greatest player ever (in 20th century? Better to mention). Namely, the greatest player is determined by both the achievements inside the court and the impact outside the court as a public character. As a result, it can be
Lebron James and Kobe Bryant are two of the most explosive players in the NBA today. Each player has his own playing style that separates him from the rest of the league. Both players have their own career achievements, endorsements, and personal life stories behind the game. If you ask anybody, the comparison between these two players is great. It is a never ending debate between who is better because both players have something different to bring to the table. Side by side on paper, both players seem dominant and may one day end up in the basketball hall of fame. But as individuals, side by side, each has a different but similar life.
Lamar Odom has finally been moved out of the hospital and into an extended rehab facility near Khloe Kardashian's home. US Magazine is sharing that Khloe actually did this without telling Lamar Odom's family first that it was going to be happening. Khloe and Lamar are in LA and his family is clear in New York. Last Wednesday he moved out of Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles and into the rehab facility.
When people think of NBA (National Basketball Association) greats many names come to mind like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Lebron James, and Kareem Abdul Jabbar. But one name tops this list and that name is Michael Jordan. His skills are extraordinary with a unique style NBA fans have ever seen. He was and all-around legend who could score without giving any effort. He is the best defensive guard to walk the earth he has the best on-ball defense forcing steals and blocking people's shots with skills like this no doubt he's the Greatest of All-Time.
Is Michael Jordan the Greatest of all Time, I think so and if you don't you should. Michael Jordan went to College at North Carolina for three years, and was one of the best or probably the best player in college basketball. During that time in college Jordan carried the Tar Heels to the 1982 NCAA Championship, and earned College Player of the Year in 1984. Jordan averaged 17.7 points per game in the three season before he thought he was ready for the National Basketball Association. These achievements were amazing in college basketball, some people may make the argument that Kobe or Lebron never went to
As a sport fan, particularly an NBA basketball fan, there isn’t anything that’s more genuine, authentic, and interesting to hear directly from the players themselves to me. There are numbers of sport media companies that provide instant updates, trending topics, and any eye-catching content that bring sport fans closer to the game; ESPN, Bleacher Report, and Sport Illustrated are just three of the many examples. Fans are given a variety of choices on ways to consume and receive information based on their personal preferences. I personally enjoy receiving and watching direct message from the players and coaches themselves; having middle men like reporters and journalists to cover a story just isn’t as raw and satisfying. Therefore, I seek for shows and interviews that involve current or retired players more often.
