The print advertisement of Kat Von D’s “Lock-It Concealer Creme” shows women of all colors, wearing minimal makeup, probably just foundation and concealer, and embracing their natural skin color and their ethnic background with her wide array of shades for each skin shade. Makeup over the years hasn’t always catered to people embracing their natural skin. The origins of foundation makeup lead to some health risks and didn’t accept people for their natural skin tone, Kat Von D’s makeup line consists of solid, well formulated, and successful products, and the influence of social media has impacted the growth of the beauty world for all people.

One of my favorite designers is Kate Spade. Kate Spade was born on December 24, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. Spade graduated from Arizona State University in 1986 and then went on to New York City. When she was in New York, she worked for a magazine called Mademoiselle. After five years of working for this magazine, she earned the title of senior fashion editor and head of accessories. Shortly after receiving this title, she left the company to create her own line. In 1993, Kate launched her own line of handbags that turned out to be very successful. After she met her husband, Andy Spade, they went into business together and their business together was even more of a success. The company grew from just handbags to a wide variety of items

I got the two tools, them being Air Aspirating Foam Nozzle and 5 Gallon Foam AFFF purpose. The pair both have foam as a main component. Air Aspirating Foam Nozzle are specially designed that provide more firefighting capability with the same amount of water. The Nozzles put out a combination of foam and water to suppress many types of fire. 5 Gallon Foam AFFF is a film concentrate that is mixed with water to become the foam used by the Air Aspirating Foam Nozzle.

Abraham Maslow once said, “We need not take refuge in supernatural gods to explain our saints and sages and heroes and statesmen, as if to explain our disbelief that mere unaided human beings could be that good or wise.” In an odd way, this applies to William Shakespeare’s tragedies. Shakespeare seemed to frequently fall back on the use of supernatural elements in order to pull his plays together. He would turn to them for aid in his story telling and use them to further explain the scenes that were taking place, and that would eventually take place. By tying the supernatural world into his plays, Shakespeare was able to draw in his audience and keep them entertained. Because pieces of his plot were able to apply to their lives, the audience members were captivated by it; therefore, William Shakespeare was a genius for that. However, by using elements of the supernatural, such as the three witch’s in Macbeth sharing their prophecies, Shakespeare is able to tie in religion. In Elizabethan England the religious beliefs would frequently flip-flop between Catholic and Protestant, two religions that were similar yet different; however, a major point that is stressed in the Bible is that there is to be no communicating with the dead. It’s forbidden by the highest power of them all… God.

Makeup wasn’t the easiest thing to find or create. The things makeup contained back then will leave you breathless. I wouldn’t have imagined that makeup used so many different things through history. Makeup has a lot of steps to it than just applying it on your face. Makeup seems like it’s nothing but it has a lot to it especially history because it has changed a whole lot over time. It hasn’t only changed by the ingredients but the colors and designers as well as time keeps going by new things also come out.
