During the year of 2014 there were an estimated 112,600 architects employed and approximately 20% were self-employed. Architects have a high competition for jobs even though job positions are estimated to increase seven percent over the next seven years (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Degrees for this field of study can be found at many colleges including Kansas State University. Kansas State is popular for Kansas and Missouri architect students. Current Pell Grant rules require at least 600 class hours of instruction if grant money is to be used to pay for coursework. Four-year university and college degrees all have well over 600 class hours of instruction. Even associate's degrees meet the standard. Most technical training courses do not, however.
Across the three years of vocational education, students are required to achieve 120 points - equivalent to 40 points per year, with one point equal to 40 hours of study. 90 credits are gained through the vocational studies, 20 credits are gained through study of the core curriculum subjects i.e. Language, Mathematics and Science, and 10 credits are gained through ‘free-choice’ studies (FNBE, 2010b).

The faculty of Department of Mechanical Engineering and Energy Processes has decided that credit of ME 309 ME Analysis and Design and ME 411 Manufacturing Methods courses to be increased to 3 credit hours from . This was because of covering the required level of materials and topics in these courses for Mechanical Engineering degree. The 2 courses ME 309 and ME 411 going to 3 credits that has resulted in increasing credit hours to graduate to 126. I do not think this is an issue as we have removed 2 credits from UCOL 101, just last year. When we add one to each course above the net gain is (0) zero. In addition to this, the departments of Electrical, Computer, and Mining Engineering have 126 credit hours required for their degree. Having
Hello all. Sean Gross is the name, architecture is the game. I have been in the Bachelor of Architecture program at BAC for three semesters, this being the fourth. I was born in Georgia, the state not the country and after completing high school there I decided to venture up to Boston for college. An interesting thing about myself is that unlike most who pursued sports during their early schooling, I instead took Martial Arts, progressing through the belt ranks over the course of twelve years. Though I consider myself to be well versed, there is still room for improvement in the realm of speaking publicly to other individuals.
It wasn’t until I was offered to participate in the Architecture Construction Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program that showed me the industry in greater depth. This is where I discovered that I wanted to be part of more than just the design facet of a project. I concluded that saying “I built that” was deemed of greater admiration then “I drew that”. Once that light bulb went off I began to research construction science programs and A&M had the one most recognized programs in the state. I then sought out and talked to the Aggies I knew to hear about their personal experiences and opportunities that were made possible for them in this wonderful land. It seemed that a motif in all the stories was that everyone was like one gigantic family and that baited me
How many classes do I need to pass the course? How many have I completed so far?
I have looked into some colleges and found only three colleges that offer a architectural degree. The one I have selected is a private non-profit school, Illinois Institute of Technology. I’ll have to go to an undergraduate school before I go to Illinois. I have chosen two undergraduate colleges, E.T.S.U. and Tusculum college. I will more than likely go to Tusculum rather than E.T.S.U., because the commute is a little shorter.

When I got accepted in the Fall of 2014, the first class I registered for was ART 345, as it is a required class for my Graphic Design major and a pre-requisite to register for other upper division graphic design courses. When I finished the semester my transcript stated I did not receive credit for the Art 345 class. When I registered for this class in Fall 2014, I understood that Art 345 is an upper division
The undergraduate Fine Arts Program is uniquely offered by both the Graduate School of Design and the Undergraduate College of Arts and Sciences; the specialization and practicality of graduate education undoubtedly improves the quality of undergraduate education. Compared with Vanderbilt, which only has general painting or photography courses, the undergraduate courses at Upenn is highly refined and crown all. For instance, there are
