“We change plans,” the leader decided. “As we search the forest this time, we look for Jung Kook. If we’re lucky, he may still be here.” All the wolves nodded in agreement, their hearts tightening at the thought of their lost member. It was their only option, after all. Getting the injured male into Na Ra’s cabin was far more complicated than it should have. The route back was around ten to fifteen minutes tops, yet it felt a whole lot longer. An hour? Two? She pushed, yanked, grunted, groaned, and was fully exhausted. If he didn’t have many scratched before, she was positive he did now. Well, at least she got him away from harm. (That she knew of.) She cursed herself for forgetting and rapidly came to her feet. He wasn’t dead yet, which was a hell of a good sign, but if she waited any longer, he might be a goner. Which, wasn’t something she wanted to deal with, to be completely honest. Tending his wounds would be the first thing. Next would be a call to the hospital. Yeah, good idea. Though until that happened… If remembering correctly, the first aid kit should be in one of the kitchen’s cabinet. Hurrying to retrieve the kit, Na Ra occasionally brushed fallen strains of hair behind her ear. She obtained it and decided at the last minute to collect a couple more items: a wash cloth, a bowl filled with water, an extra blanket, and a set of her father’s old clothes. He was in the same spot, same position she left him as. Not that she was expecting anything. She dipped the cloth into the bowl of water and faltered momentarily. The plausible thing to do was clean his wound first, right? Then bath the rest of his body? With a mighty female cry, she mustered her strength to get the male on his side comfortably to present the damage. Na Ra gently and clumsy cleansed the wound. When she volunteered at the animal shelter, she hated cleaning up injures the most. It made her want to burst into tears and this was definitely the same emotion she felt with the
