Amy Miller related she was in the yard at her mother’s residence at 11713 Lithia Pinecrest Road. Miller said she saw a black pickup truck “hauling ass” westbound on Lithia Pinecrest Road. Trooper Otten stated both Mr. Wenzel and Mr. Schilling sustained incapacitating injuries in the collision Trooper Otten advised the silver Ford’s front seat passenger, Sarah L. Wagner-Schilling, sustained life-threatening injuries in the collision and was not expected to survive. When I arrived on scene I spoke with three individuals who were involved in the collision. The operator of the White Ford F-250 was identified as Albert John PIKITUS and his passenger was identified as Nathan GULDEN. Both stated that PIKITUS was driving south on Swatara Road when they observed a vehicle travelling north on Swatara road. They said the vehicle began to travel in their direction and they thought she was going to strike them so PIKITUS stopped his truck in the road. They said they could see the eyes of the operator and she never looked at them and was only looking at the turn where she later turned right onto Florida Avenue. The operator turned into their vehicle making a wide right turn. As they sat stationary the female struck the driver's side of the truck.

Police said the driver and passenger of that car, along with the 17-year-old driver were taken to area hospitals. Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
