It was 12:00,early fall in caveman years. The desert was really cold. The desert had hardly anything to survive for a girl named Jill,or as I should say a ghost named Jill was 15 years old.She was always shy,but it wasn't like people could see her.She wanted to be noticeable because she always felt alone. She only had one friend and her name was Angelina. Angelina could not see Jill although she could still hear her.As soon as Angelina tried to make Jill noticeable the government was releasing a virus just to get more money. Angelina had an opportunity to join the government or rebellion. She had no idea what to do,leave her ghost friend or join the government.Jill thought the virus might help her turn into human to be noticeable so she just
- He offered me to take the blame, but I know that did not kill Jill and that man. I could not. I loved Jill - contritely said the man and shut by the hands face. - I saw how he killed her and was unable to help ... no one believes me, and ye believe not. So why come? Convince me that I is guilty? - Tom shouted loudly and dramatically jumped out of bed, his face was purple, his eyes were bloodshot, the veins on his neck swelled and began to throb. - And all because you find it easier to shift the blame on me, than to find the
A great story! I first got a little bored when it was said that Jill’s father died, because this is not a very surprising plot, but your descriptions later really made a difference. Jill’s reaction was so real and I like how she finally talked to her mom, I mean the tear and the choke. Also you did a great job describing the setting and the change of the setting, from the warm and comfortable to cold and biting. This change fits well with the change of Jill’s mind and actually reinforced how she was influenced by the tragedy. Something you may want to know is I am a little bit confused when you switch to tell the office and thoughts of Joseph. It kind of broke the consistency of the description of Jill. Also there are a lot of background information
“I think you owe it to Jefferson,” Vivian told me one out of the blue, “He’d want for you to read it. He told Paul to give it to you on that day.” We had been sitting in sitting room, watching the kids keep to themselves on the floor. I knew what she was talking about. She wanted me to read Jefferson’s journal.
Juilliard. My audition is Tuesday. I have been waiting for this for years, but now, I’m not so sure. I know I’m the best in my band, but I’m from a small town. Anyone could be better than me.
What if the nightmare isn’t over when you wake up? Keith never believed he’d get a happy ending, but he did. He got the girl, kept his sanity, and gained a few friends. Now he’s free to worry about normal things: choosing his carreer, getting the stamp of approval from Alice’s family… He should be a normal guy, with normal guy troubles.
Emily: (shakes her head) "No. I think Kate's motto has always been 'Don't bring your personal issues to work'."
“Sister Catherine! You have failed!” A voice boomed aloud as the a chair hung in midair with a frightened nun that sat on top. Without a warning, whatever was holding the chair in place was gone, and it crashed onto the floor. I quickly covered my eyes to hide from the horrific sight. The woman was surely dead and I did not want to see what was remained of her. Alice, a friend I made on my trip in France, started to scream and cry. I pulled out my phone to call the police while trying to drag Alice away from the scene. I told the woman on the other side what had happened and in no time, the sirens of the police were heard.
The duo walked in silence to Barrelbottom, where they were greeted by Cat. “What lies beneath this patina of civility? Something wicked I’ll wager,” he warned them in his cryptic way before disappearing. As soon as they passed the gates of Barrelbottom, Chris felt like he was attracted by something or someone in this town.
We were blessed to have Miss Abby in our lives for over 15 years. Abby was 6 weeks old, 4 lbs. and a personality twice her size when we brought her home. Within days, she filled our home with an abundance of joy, love & laughter which we will always remember & cherish forever. When the difficult decision was finally made to let her go, we were able to feel relieved knowing she left us in the most peaceful manner possible, without the pain she had experienced for so many years due to illness, surgeries, and conditions associated with aging.
"Bonnie Mary Aleck!" My Mother screamed from our backyard, " come this instinct!" Uh-oh, Im in tremendous trouble I heard my middle and last name, but it's okay. I still didn't introduce myself to you guys. What poor manners, I have.
“The world you knew is gone ,I killed it.” “Alice wake your butt out of the bed”!! Alice slowly yawned as she opened her eye. What was that voice in my head it sounded familiar wondered Alice. Alice suddenly woke up and said, “Did something happen?!!”
It was a sweltering hot day in New York City. I bolt down the streets, sweat running down my face. I was going to be late, again. After Morrie passed away, Janine and I moved from Detroit to New York. She realized her true dream was to star on Broadway, and I followed along.
Hi I'm natalie and I am 14 yrs old. I feel like every girl has been told. That's they need to be like everybody else and they have this mindset to be like everyone. I grew up in a family where cultural tyranny exist. Since little I grew up knowing the role of a women was different from a men. Where the women is just a housewife and does all the chores around the house and take care of the kids. In the other hand, the men just work to bring the money and food to the table. For example, I haven’t seen my dad do any chores around the house because he thinks that is a women’s job. If there was anything that had to be done that is supposed to be by women. My dad will tell me or my sister to do it because he uses the excuse that he is a man and he can’t to it. Also when I wanna go somewhere with my friends. I can’t really go alone unless if my younger sister goes with me and there can’t be no males within the group. I can’t
The Analysis of Child Interviews from Empirical Studies There are various types of good and bad interviewing procedures that can be used to maximize or minimize the amount of correct information. The interview conducted by Kathleen MacFarlane comprises appalling interviewing techniques. MacFarlane questions the child with suggestive questions throughout the interview. For example, MacFarlane suggestively asks the child “Oh, and it went flash?”
