Most people have someone they consider a hero. Heros can be anyone with astounding courage and strength. Individuals who chose to risk their own lives to increase fairness in others’ lives are heros. A hero is someone who is daring, cunning, and humble. Many heroes have done extraordinary deeds and Welles Crowther was one of the many great heros.

Is James Shaw Hero or Not? I believe that James Shaw is a most amazing role model for all demographic. He is a truly heroic person. Also, James is a very courageous person.

Based upon what I have read in the article I believe that James Shaw Jr. Is a hero. I believe he is a hero because during the waffle house shooting he risked his life by unarming the suspect, Saved the lives of the survivor's in the shooting, ended the thirty-four-hour manhunt on the shooter Travis Reinking, and lived to tell about it. James Shaw Jr. Ended a thirty-four-hour manhunt by disarming the perpetrator to, as he states in the passage " save his own life. Though his actions consequently saved more than just his own as many people walk away alive that day along with a few minor injuries. Shaw not only could have lost his life in this incident, but he could have also left his four-year-old daughter behind. Shaw threw himself at the shooter

He has grown used to this syndrome of death and has almost no human left in him. Anyone who influences anyone else by saving or helping save his or her lives can be a hero. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. changed the lives of millions of people by bringing justice to minorities. Mahatma Gandhi, one of the greatest heroes, led a nonviolent revolution to free his country. Even a parent can be a hero to his or her child by leading them in the right direction. All teachers are heroes when they make it their job to teach a child anything that will help them in life. You don’t have to go to great lengths by risking your life to make a difference in someone else’s life.

Heroes are not always people who lead marches or do things for their country. For example policemen, firefighters, nurses, lifeguards etc. are heroes everyday because they take the time to save lives. When they’re going through a challenge or trying to overcome a conflict they always have courage. These people risk their own life to save someone else’s. To be more specific Dr. Ginger Holt from Dallas had saved a little boy’s leg. She was confident and determined to finding out what went wrong in the boy’s leg and went through many procedures looking at the tests.

George Bernard Shaw’s Arms and the Man is a play that explores the trials and tribulations of love and war through a comedic lens. It is set in Victorian era Bulgaria, during the Serbo-Bulgarian War. The main protagonist, Raina, is the strong-headed, intelligent daughter of the Petkoffs, a rich and influential Bulgarian family. She is betrothed to Sergius, a somewhat vain and brainless soldier that works under her father. The majority of the story’s conflict revolves around Raina and her love interest, Captain Bluntschli, a Swiss hired soldier fighting for the Serbs. Louka, a young and beautiful Petkoff servant also plays a large role in the plot. This play explores different expressions of love that present themselves in relationships.
