Jacob Martin was a family man with a wife and two kids. His kids meant the world to him and he would do anything to keep them safe. With this being said Jacob did have some financial issues. Jacob worked for a sales company based in Boston called Levi’s Trades. Jacob was one of the top salesman for the company so he in turn had to do a lot of traveling. Jacob’s wife Crystal was the most beautiful girl in the world to him, but she was never able to hold down a job do to her lack of skills in pretty much anything. Jacob comes up with a plan on how he will make the money and save his family. He will buckle down and do the best he can at work and he will also get a second job on the weekends. He will do anything to help salvage his family. As his mind is thinking about this he goes to security and passes through it with a breeze, but as he does this he notices someone staring at him. Jacob can sense someone to his right staring intently at him, so he decides to slowly turn and he sees a dark haired, edgy man staring at him like an eagle staring down his prey. As the two lock eyes the man starts approaching Jacob and this makes Jacob become very uncomfortable, “Do I know this guy? Why is he staring at me? Does he want something?” The man approaches Jacob and says, “Want to make a thousand dollars?” “What?” Jacob responds. “A thousand dollars, I know you are not slow. You want in?” Jacob sits there and thinks to himself what could this man want me to do? I really need the money should I take it? As Jacob is thinking about those questions he subconsciously responds with, “Yes, what do I got to do?” “Take this package to New York with you and give it to Josh, you will see him when you get off,” says the stranger. “How do I know that I can trust you? What is in the package? Show me the money first,” responds Jacob as he sits there shaking from nerves. …show more content…
As he is rushing towards the entrance he sees three security guards and immediately stops in his tracks. He watches as the security guards search through passengers bags like wolves searching for prey. Before he even realizes he is up next in line; he approaches the security guard with extreme caution. “Let me see what is in that bag,” says one of the security guards as he rips the package out of Jacob’s hand. “We got a hit boys we got a hit, grab him,” says the security guard as he looks through the package. The security guards apprehend Jacob and take him to the back room. As they take him to the back room Jacob is humiliated and know he can never show his face again, but little does he know he never will as Jacob was never seen
Tom Walker sat at his bedside feeling rather melancholy for he had not much to do but be chided at by his notorious witch of a wife. They both lived in their humble abode of an apartment in the middle of a city but they had a sublime view that overlooked the scenery of the domicile's dumpsters. They lived poorly, just barely getting by to afford a couple gallons of gas. Tom grew a hatred for almost everyone around and had only a handful of “friends”, he believed that money was the most valuable and important thing in his life.

Jimmy Valentine, the magnificent bank robber, or should I say Ralph D. Spencer, the honest family man, made a very large transition throughout his life. Jimmy Valentine was an amazing man at times. Other times, he was one of the world’s best bank robbers. He could get into almost any safe imaginable in a very short amount of time. This habit disappeared the moment he met Mrs.Annabel Adams. Jimmy Valentine, because he was getting rid of his tools, stopped robbing banks, and wanted the best life for him and Annabel, was truly dedicated to living a moral life.
His father began to branch out and converted into well-known pastor. His father’s success was the reason for the family’s wealth. Over time things among his parents began to spiral downward. Between the age of 7 and 8 his parents had acquired a divorce. Jeremy’s father left the keys to the house and the cars with his now ex-wife, with no money. This major event force Jeremy, his mom and little brother to move back to New Orleans. Years went by and the two brothers were breaking into houses and vending drugs off the streets.
Tom is on the verge of gaining everything he wants such as the inheritance from Judge Driscoll. Just as being able to gain everything he wants Tom is still also vulnerable to losing everything him has. He is a literate man who lives free his whole life and owns slaves instead of being a slave. Tom’s mother is willing to sell herself to slavery in order to help her son but by sacrificing her freedom through love she finds out that she is betrayed by her son. Her only requests were to be sold up the river and to be bought back in order to allow Tom to pay his debts back.
This shows how Marlena had little love left for August, but felt obligated to stay in the marriage. This was Marlena’s form of imprisonment as she struggled with August’s bipolar tendencies and his intense paranoia. Both Marlena and Jacob struggled to break out of their self-inflicted imprisonment in order to find love and acceptance. In the end, when, Jacob and Marlena were able to be together, they finally felt the fulfillment that the love of one another had brought them. On the other hand, elderly Jacob was a free-spirited old man.

The dog ends up darting for the neighbor’s house, which is under construction, to eat the chicken bones the framers leave there everyday. Zeb and Jacob wake up and start arguing about who will use the bathroom first. Jacob had to be told multiple times to comb through his hair, and Zeb would not clear the dishes from breakfast like he has been told. Melanie, his wife, has already left and to top is all off he blows up at Zeb on the ten minute drive to karate camp. For the last five minutes of the drive they sit in silence but as they pull into the studio parking lot he apolozies to the boys for yelling at them when it was not all their fault.
Although his family remained poor after his parents’ constant efforts to make more money, they continued to be happy in the early days. Those happy days ended when his father was sent to prison for debt

While he was focused on his dream of a liquor store, he refused to look around and see the rest of his family, especially his wife, who needed his help and support. Instead, he would throw fits about his family not listening to his ideas. It shows his personality of only caring about what is important to him, and getting upset at anything that got in his way, even if it was his family. As he continues to obsess over his liquor store, Mama finally gives in. She gives him a chunk of money, telling him to put some of it in the bank for her sister's college fund and the rest he could use for his business.

During their fight to get Ms. Peregrine back, Millard was shot, but the orphans were unable to let themselves leave him behind.
