On November 29, 1963, our 35th President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. A young and vigorous leader who was a victim of the fourth Presidential assassination in the history of a country. This assassination was known as a world tragedy, and a great lost to our nation. Many conspiracies were formed while the investigation of his assassination was undergoing, making his case unsolved. But with the many conspiracies, the assassination caused a lot of effect on our country over the years. Making the JFK assassination a remarkable case.

Oswald was the killer, the reason he did it may never be known. Although many people believe that there were multiple assassins, Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the assassination.

The acclaimed book entitled “Four Days in November: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy” by Vincent Bugliosi is the book I have chosen to do my book report on. I remember reading this book when I was in high school and I remember how much I enjoyed it so I chose to reread it again. Crowds were cheering as JFK was on a ten mile route that would pass through Dallas, Texas. John Kennedy was in the back seat of a 1961 four door Lincoln Continental convertible when this tragic event occurred. The driver took a left off of Main street passing by the Texas School Book Depository. Suddenly gun shots were heard, and John Kennedy took a bullet to the head and neck. JFK was the 35th president at the time when he got shot by Lee Harvey Oswald. The place that he got shot was called the Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. It was just a normal day and JFK was driving with his wife Jacqueline in an open top convertible. JFK was driving and then all of a sudden, everyone saw a gun shot by Oswald. This all had happened on Friday November 22, in the year of 1963. There was also this guy named Shea standing with his mother Hannah, holding their ice cream from the Dealey Plaza. As he was riding in his motorcade through downtown Dallas, Texas, Kennedy was shot 3 times and died 30 minutes later of a wound to the brain. Oswald was seen leaving his workplace around the same time Kennedy was shot. He was later questioned and confronted by a police officer whom he shot and killed. Oswald was arrested for killing the officer and for being a suspect in the assassination. While being transferred to the county jail Oswald was shot and killed by Jack Ruby before ever seeing a trial.

The assassination of John F. Kennedy is said to be, as from the Warren report, a murder. The Warren report states that a man, Lee Harvey Oswald, fired 3 shots from the 6th floor of the Texas Book State Depository building. One missed the President’s motorcade completely; another hit President Kennedy in the neck, and the last hit him in the head, which was later said after an autopsy, to be the cause of death.

Mary Shelley gave Frankenstein the subtitle of The Modern Prometheus. As such, Prometheus and Victor Frankenstein share many similarities. Both characters start off with good intentions.
