A hero or heroism can always be defined vibrantly and always related to helpful and beneficial deeds. Throughout the history, we had known numerous historical and fictional heroes that inspired us in acting good things for the sake of others. One of the most famous fictional heroes of all times was Superman. He was known for his heroic acts to save the universe particularly the Earth and America. Superman is the great American hero [1]. Although Superman is just among the known American heroes, he is indeed the most popular one especially for kids and kids alike. We are a nation rich with legendary figures [1]. But since Superman is just a hero given life from the vast imagination of its author, we can’t consider him as a real hero living among us. Superman doesn't have to be seen as an angel to be appreciated, but in the absence of a tradition of national religious iconography, he can serve as a safe, nonsectarian focus for essentially religious sentiments, particularly among the young [1]. Irregardless of religion, a real-life hero can be born even from countries where pagan beliefs are commonly practice. Being a hero has nothing to do with one’s religion, although religion can make us more aware with the real meaning of sacrifice. Churches also consider their own heroes; those people who gave their life for the sake of proclaiming the gospel and their religion. Superman is like nothing so much as an American boy's fantasy of a messiah [1]. Heroic deeds can be related or not to religion. He protects the weak and defends truth and justice and all the other moral virtues inherent in the Jude-Christian tradition, remaining ever vigilant and ever chaste
