Many components make up a book’s quality. For a book to be truly outstanding it needs all of these components to be at their best as well as complimentary of each other. Inkspell, by Cornelia Funke, is a success in this area. It has wonderful imagery that is perfectly suited to describe a fantasy world. It has themes that transcend the words themselves, and it has well developed characters that fit right in to these themes. For these reasons, I would give Inkspell the grade “A.” One of the reasons Inkspell gets an A is because of its excellent imagery. It is very well suited to describe a fantasy world. The author paints a vivid and beautiful picture by involving multiple senses and using unique words to draw connections. Though some concepts
The author achieves her goal. For me the book is written very clearly because of its simple yet descriptive vocabulary. For me this book is the most interesting and entertaining book I have ever read on this topic. If I could change one thing in the book it would probably be to add some visual aid, although the book is still amazing without pictures. This book for me is an 8/10. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a suspenseful and entertaining read. The book is intended for anyone who is mature and likes fiction
The Newbery Honor award is given to the author with the biggest contribution to American literature for children. This book was chosen as the 2015 winner along with “The Crossover” by Kwame Alexander. The National Book Award is chosen by a board of judges, this particular book beat over 294 other titles. Both of these awards lets me assume that it is going to be a very quality book, and there is a high possibility that most people will like it.
The cover of this book caught my eye and I wondered what it was. When I saw it I thought to myself and I said I would give this book a chance. I flipped the book over and I started reading a paragraph about the book. It had a lot of details and it was describing the characters very well. A good book for me is one with a
Furthermore, the illustrations paint a beautiful picture that I like to think is an insight into a child’s mind, which I is a key element in this book and what makes it so great. Since the book is narrated by a child the intentional simplicity of the words and the controlled chaos that is the illustrations breathes unadulterated life into a rather normal children’s book.
I give this book a solid B+, because I think he did a very nice
I would strongly people who love mythical creatures, horror movies or books, and most importantly everyone. Everything was perfect, I would rate this book a ten out of ten. People suggested to me that I should definitely ready the whole entire series. I think that this series are much better than Goosebumps , this series is better but Goosebumps are much popular. I read Jonathan Rand’s books for about the whole school year. He really is a great person and a great author in this world. There is a one in ten that there is a mistake in his books because in Haunting in New Hampshire. There was a spelling mistake where there was a “w” in the word. I would read his books forever, he is that of a great author. If anyone could get a hand on his books, you are in a joyride. This is what I typed, and I am out for this
I think that this work is a very well put together book. Even though In the earlier questions I make it sound like a ten on ten this book is not. I rate this book a 9/10 for the soul reason that it was on a very directed path and you could the events that were going to happen before they did by just reading the book. Even the twist that the author put in were not that book which made some of the book predictable and who really wants a book in which they know everything that is going to happen.
I rate this book a 4. It was a great and interesting book, that hooks you in. it also has great message to teach. However the reason I did not give it a 5 was because in some parts there could have been a little more action or drama and details. In certain chapters
enjoyed the plot of the book. I also chose the book because it was the only book that seemed most interesting.
I, personally, loved the author's writing, although I did not really understand why she structured the book like so. With each chapter changing different perspectives and stories, it was kind of hard to remember which chapter went with another considering the chapters where out of order. With each story, I was a little annoyed that they just suddenly ended at the end of the chapter. It made me want to read more and more trying to find the next chapter that went with that person's story. It was also kind of difficult to connect the stories. Other than that, she did a marvelous job grabbing my attention. I loved the analogies that she included in the stories. For example, on page 216- 217, one of the mothers told her daughter about a turtle that eats her tears and then creates birds that laugh
Once you read one it’s best to read the next so you can keep reading all of the great adventures and rescuing they do. Additionally, I would also recommend to young teenagers about 13-15 who are looking for a good book series to read. That way they would have books to read for a couple months or so without stressing about finding a book. Finally, I would recommend this book to anyone who has previously read any Percy Jackson books. This is because they are a little similar but different when it comes to powers and adventures. That is who I would recommend this book too. I rate this book a 10 because of the way it was written. Each page would have more and more details about that part in the book. If they were in a cell, they would describe the cell. Another thing i really liked about this book is how intriguing it was. When I reading one page it was so interesting I would want to read the next on,then the next one, then the next one, then the I flipped the last page. The book was so good i finished it in two days. This is why I would definitely rate this book a
I would give this rate because I really enjoyed this book. I thought the language in this book was very complex. I didn’t find the vocabulary very hard, but every sentence had a deeper meaning than on the surface. I thought that made this book was very insightful. I really related to Jacqueline because she was the youngest child in her family for a long time, and I am the youngest. I thought that Jacqueline struggled being the youngest and finding a place in her family, as do I sometimes. Overall I really enjoyed this book because I really could relate to most of Jacqueline's feelings. I really enjoyed this complex novel with all its imagery and vivid
I really liked the book. It was very enjoyable to read. I would recommend it to my friends, because I think they
I would like to conclude by saying that this novel The Lord of the Rings has inspired many spin off works, including several games as well. The enormous popularity of Tolkien’s epic saga has greatly expanded the demand for fantay novels, largely thanks to the Lord of the Rings. It is an an extraordinary work, grandly conceived, brilliantly executed and wildly entertaining novel of Tolkien .In the whole novel we see that it 's a hobbit 's dream, a wizard 's delight. And, of course, it 's only the beginning. The language used in this novel is very simple and easy to understand by people. In short this novel has won the hearts of many .This novel is a must read. I see this novel as a near perfect: It 's one of the best fantasy novel ever written. The story just revolves around the Ring which is created by a Dark lord, Sauron. It has brought the supernaturalism in such a way that we could clearly make out where is the supernaturalism used.
In the past couple years, there has been a growing phenomenon in the world of children's literature, this phenomenon is Harry Potter. J.K. Rowlings series of novels about a young wizard and his years at "Hogwarts School of Wizarding and Witchcraft," has become one of the most successful children's book series of all time. Before reading any of the now four novels, one may find it hard to believe that a children's novel may be so entertaining. But once one starts reading any of the four books, it is plain to see why these books are so popular.
