Imperialism: What Is Imperialism?
The ability to control or influence a nation, a society, or a person is how past and present rulers or government leaders have gained power over one another. (Paris)
Imperialism started during the Egyptians era where they had emperors that ruled kingdoms and in order for them to obtain leadership, they had to overtake other states and maintain their rule. If they were able to conquer a state that was being controlled, they would be able to rule the state. (Imperialism)

These governments focused on exploration and discovery however it was mainly due to that rulers’ kingdom that had the reference imperialism frequently narrowed down. Settlements were rooted around mixed states that were scattered and fields that were located where early cultures and environments occurred. (Imperialism)
Imperialistic settlements include, but are not limited to Asia, China, Greece, and Roman Empire. The people of Greece reached a turning point when their leader Alexander the Great unified Eastern Mediterranean with Western Asia.
