My heart truly bleed for the individuals that are suffering abuse from drug cartels and sex traffickers. Their country refuses to protect their citizens! These individuals need to direct their anger towards their leaders for failure to protect. Why are you mad at Americans who do not want to allow you in our country! If the parents are paying several thousand dollar to a smuggler to assist in smuggle their children to the U.S Border- traveling through the dangerous parts of Mexico- why don't the just all move to safer part of Mexico?? There are several reasons why I think America needs to have stricter and more secure borders I live in a city that borders Mexico- Since moving Here, I can see now how important it for congress to act and make stricter laws regarding the border and enforce deportation!!. I can not find work here and suffer horrible discriminated …show more content…
They are a waste of time and space. If they enter illegally they did it unwillingly and they had been unwilling to wait to at least get a visa for work they try to gain citizenship i’m not saying no immigrants because well i’m from canada and have a visa and america is built from immigrants and is main goal is to help but if they come illegally they did the wrong thing it might be morally right but it is illegal and unlawful. America already have a lot of unemployed people. If illegals are taking jobs. People can get fired for not being paid like they are illegals. They are not doing the right thing and it is really bad and they are taking jobs from legals. Is wrong and immoral. They are stealing the jobs we need. To make a america the best america can be. We need all the jobs we can get. Illegals are making america fall. I’m not agreeing with trump he is awful and not right but it is bad for
To begin with, we need to stop immigrants from entering the country. We have been having this problem for so long and unless we act now we will not stop this increasing trend of illegal immigrants. According to CNN, there are currently 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S and they are continuing to increase every year. Why should we allow illegal immigrants to enter our country when they are basically committing a crime by entering illegally. If
As an individual who has witnessed family friends of immigrants that came to this country over 20 years ago in hope of a better future. I understand why so many immigrants are willing to cross a border so dangerous and treacherous to reach a country that is called the land of opportunities. What we call The Unites States of America the land of the free. An average of 2,700 illegal immigrants are willing to cross the border each day leaving there families and risking their own life's to cross to the US. Mostly in the news we tend to hear only the superficial fact but never the real facts or the stories of the capture immigrants. If we would just take time to listen to the real stories of what I called the unforgotten children and women. We
One of the main points of rhetoric used when trying to show how undocumented immigrants are bad for Americans is that they are taking our jobs. This for the most part is false, in fact undocumented immigrants actually have raised wages for people working skilled jobs by more than 10 percent. This happens because they can be more productive because of the help they get doing the non-skilled work they used to do. The only people who are negatively affected by undocumented immigrants are adults who do not have a high school education. They have seen a decrease in wages between 0.4 and 7.7 percent (Davidson). While there has been a slight decrease in wages for non-high school this does not necessarily mean that they are taking our jobs. There have been many studies looking into whether or not the jobs that a majority of
Illegal immigration is a big problem in the United States. One of the big problems is lost jobs. Millions of American citizens are out of jobs because of foreclosure caused by illegal immigrants. Jobs that are less alluring are being taken over by illegal immigrants. So the Americans who would take these jobs to provide for their families now can't.
Contrary to what most Americans believe, illegal immigrants are not causing our economy to weaken, in fact, they are causing just the opposite. Immigration enforcement has increased greatly in the past few years and undocumented immigrant workers are being deported much more frequently. America refuses to recognize the positive impact these illegal workers have on our economy. Without the surplus of illegal immigrant workers in the U.S. our country’s economy would suffer greatly. Illegal immigrant workers help our economy flourish and they positively influence the American workforce.
Contrary to what Americans believe, immigrants are not taking jobs away from Americans. In Immigration News: New Study Declares Immigration to be a Plus, it states that "Immigration benefits the American economy and overall and has little negative effect on the income and job opportunities of most native-born U.S. citizens." When you look at shops or restaurants in California, Texas, or New York, who do you notice that's running most of those shops and restaurants? Immigrants, whether they're Mexican, Asian, or Natives. Instead of taking away jobs, they create jobs by opening businesses. They spend their income on American goods, and pay taxes; this
Illegal immigrants are just that Illegal. Illegal immigrants should have no rights in this country and no support the same way an American criminal has no rights or support. Americans businesses don't wan't to hire a citizen that get's 7.25 an hour vs an illegal who gets maybe 2 dollars a day. No one, no matter how bad their circumstances, has the right to break American law every day they are here illegally,
Illegal aliens take jobs from actual american citizens. There are over 8 million employed illegal aliens, this is almost the same amount of unemployed american citizens. Unemployment is a major problem in America, and illegal aliens occupying american citizens jobs are part of the cause. Simply if illegal aliens did not occupy jobs then that's 8 million jobs that actual american citizens could occupy.
Former President Grover Cleveland once said, “Remember, remember always that all of us, and you and I especially, are descended from immigrants and revolutionists.” While this is true, the immigrants, who built this country, came legally. Immigrants create a diverse country and build up a great nation like America. On the other hand, illegal immigrants tear down a country economically. Illegal immigration to the United States creates a variety of problems that will only grow worse if not addressed by the federal government.
I do not believe that employment of illegal immigrants is a problem in our country in any way. Over half of the jobs
Illegal immigrants are taking the jobs of American citizens. The article “Unskilled Workers Lose Out to Immigrants” states that 58 million working-age native-born Americans not working, unemployed or out of the labor market completely. The cause is that American citizens are having to compete for jobs against illegal immigrants. The Bureau of Labor Statistics data
Illegal immigration has become a huge issue in the United States, it is estimated that there are about twelve million illegal immigrants living in the U.S. today and that number is growing larger every day. This issue has caused multiple social, economic, safety, and law issues within the country. The state and federal government is using billions of dollars on things such as school, welfare, and medical and receiving minimal or no money in return simply because they are giving out the money to illegal immigrants who do not pay taxes to help fund things. Even though illegal immigrants help the economy, take low paying jobs, and improve the overall image of America, the U.S. must not allow any persons who enter this country illegally to
First off, looking at the scope of the situation from the economic stand point of the general population, it is evident that illegal immigration puts a strain on the U.S job market. This is a concept that has been debated vehemently and has been proven
America should not be harboring fugitives and giving them welfare checks. ("Illegal Immigration: Drugs, Gangs and Crime.") In 2005 alone, 2.2 kilograms of cocaine and 11.6 kilograms of marijuana were smuggled across the southern border. They then sell those drugs illegally and use the money they make to send more drugs into America. As time goes one more and more drugs will cross into America and be sold to troubled citizens who need help. In Wake County, North Carolina illegal immigrants specifically Hispanics make up 5.4 percent of the population, but they account for 46 percent of drug trafficking arrests. That fact alone should prove that something is wrong, yet some people continue to argue for it. Nationally Hispanics make up for 49 percent of gang memberships many of them are illegal immigrants. If these immigrants were deported America’s crime rate will go down substantially. ("Illegal Immigration: Drugs, Gangs and
One reason illegal immigrants should be allowed to stay in the United States is that they're willing to take jobs that no one wants. About 7.2 million undocumented Immigrants work in the U.S. They also make jobs for Immigrants and Americans. Most of the time they take jobs that don’t take that much skill. Most of the time they are working with other Immigrants. They also work for Americans that need workers and in those jobs they work with Americans. Most immigrants need money to pay for their family
