“Reach!” “Slurp!” I was eating delicious noodles that were from heaven. I was at a Korean noodle restaurant that served traditional noodles that you eat on special holidays. But if you want, you can go anytime but this place is packed on days like Christmas. Today was Christmas and we had to wait an hour to finally sit down. It was like waiting for my sister to pick at least one shirt in Forever 21 (Women clothes store.) I was with my mom, dad, sister, and my mom’s friend from South Korea. Her name is Eun-Joo, she does not have an English name, but that would be her name in an English form. She is a very nice person, like a grandma with handing out fudge bars for kids. After I got my dish, I ate my plate of noodles like a turtle because I …show more content…
The Lights… so bright, it threw all different colors at me and there were small fake reindeers, made out of Christmas lights hopping around. The whole neighborhood has awesome Christmas lights. Apparently, if you wanted to live in this neighborhood, you had to participate in these events. We looked around for about an hour and we decided to go to the car and go home. While we were walking back, we saw a bunch of people running and turning a corner. We decided to follow them and we saw it, a huge house full of the most beautiful Christmas lights I have even see. People started to throw crumbles of dollar bills at the front doorway to applaud the owners. I threw a dollar bill and shouted “You owners are awesome! Better than Mickey Mouse!” The adults around me laughed and said that I was right because everybody knows that Mickey Mouse was a Revolutionary character. I took only about 100 pictures with my mom’s phone and started to head for the car. The whole time from the morning, to this point, I was holding my Christmas present, a Mario Monopoly game board. The game board always held on to me just as tight as I did to it. I loved Mario because the game was really fun and I loved monopoly because I was the ninja in the game. What I mean by ninja is stealing everybody’s money when they go to the restroom. I was like a shadow that you only see for a nano second. When I opened the car door, I put my game board on the seat and suddenly, I heard a “Cling, cluck,
I was on my wonderful trip at disney world enjoying some time at the rock ‘n’ roller coaster. When i had a great idea to go to the it's a small world ride because it was indoor and it was really cold out here since it was the winter. I started and the dolls were singing,as I continued down the water. Then I saw a rat, but since I was in disney world and their mascot is a mouse, I thought I would say “Meeska mooska Mickey Mouse!” Since that's what they said say in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Then, all of a sudden the floor dropped beneath me and I fell in a room of dolls.
After eating breakfast and getting myself ready, I left my house at 10:30 a.m. to ensure enough travel time to get to New Auburn, WI, to be able to pick Chloe up from school at 3:30 p.m. As I left for New Auburn in my 1998 Buick Park Avenue, nicknamed Ol’ Faithful, I heard a strange noise in the front end of my car. The strange noise I heard was a very loud screeching sound. The screeching sound went away very quickly and Ol’ Faithful seemed to have been driving normally. I stopped in Columbus, WI to fill up the gas tank at the local Kwik Trip. Ol’ Faithful was still driving great, which was important as I was about to be in the middle of nowhere for quite a while.
I could hear mama grabbing something out of her bag and her heels on the hard wood floor walking back towards me "click clack click clack".
The car went tumbling in the air the were tumbling for about a half a mile. At that moment I realized that I just lost my friends.
It was a magical day in Disney World. Eight years ago my family and I were having lunch at a pizza parlor called Pizza Planet in one of the Disney World parks. The restaurant was based off of one the Disney Pixar movies “Toy Story”. Toy Story was my brother’s favorite movie. My mother packed a weeks’ worth of Cheerios in her suitcase for the trip because my brother Anthony refused to eat anything else, only Cheerios. Until that day. My parents ordered a large cheese pizza for the three of us to share. Suddenly the unexpected happened. Mom went reaching in her bag for Anthony’s Cheerios, and when she was not looking, Anthony grabbed a slice of pizza! We were all astonished. He took a bite out of the pizza and he smiled. His eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. Tears of joy began to fall down my
“Calm down” my dad said but I couldn’t. Boom bam. These noises went off when I tried to hold on to the couch. I couldn't see the beautiful night pouring through the windows because of this.
Then I heard a car drive by. I didn’t care about it, because cars were going in and out of the parking lot.
Gera grab some scissors and cut two peep holes in an old white sheet, and they all got underneath it while her big brother led the way in the front, the babies in the middle in front of her and she stayed in the back. They went door to door and they trick and treated happily, and as they approached doors in the neighbor hood all you heard was them saying in unison “Trick or Treat!” then after they receive their candy in unison you would then hear them say “Thank You!”
I set down my bags full of party supplies onto the counter, and I walked over to the stairs that lead down into the garage and saw Mr. Francis waddling up the stairs and struggling to keep all the bags in hand. After all of the party supplies were brought upstairs, Mr. Francis and I got right to work. We put out all of the snack trays, blew up balloons just for fun, set up all of the decorations, and made a little snack bar with plastic plates, silverware, snack trays, red solo cups, and four different kinds of soda. Mr. Francis and I got done setting up just in time and before we knew it, there was a knock on the door. Mr. Francis went to welcome my friends in and as soon as he opened the door, I saw Santa Claus’s jolly face and Rudolph’s bright red nose. Santa was dressed in his Sunday best, a knit wool Christmas sweater
When we finally calmed down, Grandma and I went out with my older brother, Michael, to protect us. We went to see if we could find what had made that very strange sound. As my brother, who is super brave, was leading the way; we rounded the corner of our first block, we hear the noise again. We all looked around cautiously trying to see what made the noise; but did not see anything that stood out as strange. Than we all saw it at once. It was the weirdest animal I had ever seen!
My family and I decided on checking out the infamous ghost town of Colorado, I personally had wanted to visit this town for a long while now, but since I had lost my other friends who accompanied me in my other adventures I had to postpone it. When I explained to my family how much I loved visiting ghost towns around the world they understood, my passion with the paranormal and told me if all 6 of us could check out the ghost town in Colorado. My family and I lived out in Los Angeles, California we took a plane out to Colorado. Once we arrived in Colorado my parents booked a room in The St. Elmo hotel, we had all decided on searching the abandoned house in St. Elmo
“What happened?” my parents asked with a comforting voices in cantonese. My sister was not able to answer my parents because she was really hurt and sad. Stupidly, I asked “Are you okay?” I knew my sister would either not answer me of scream NO. After a while, my parents told her “Calm down!”
I decided to go. We stopped at Hana Sushi to get my lunch. When I got back to school everyone had planned a surprise party. It was okay I just wish I could have had a better day than I did. I just want to redo the day. When I blew out the candles for the cake I wished that I could redo this day. The cake had my face on it and balloons all around it. Phyllis and Sylvia came up to me and said,” Rachel, we are very sorry for what we did to you. We wish that we could redo this day and make better choices. We're VERY sorry.” “ EVeryone makes mistakes I am just glad you apologized and I am ok.” I ran off and got ready to leave school was almost over.
We got into the car to go to school. My brother was humming the tune he was playing last night. His fingers were tapping the steering wheel.
“Mom!” I called as loud as I could, “ My door is locked.” I didn’t necessarily need to scream it that loud seeing as we live in an apartment, but I was getting very frustrated. The next thing that I heard was my mom rushing to the door.
