I Want to Become an Architect

I want to achieve equal dental health care for everyone no matter their financial status. Even people in third world countries should be given access to free dental health care, so that their quality of life can improve.

Prior to attending the University of St. Thomas, Jon grew up locally, right here in the Twins Cities. He had a passion for design and thought he’d pursue a career as an architect. However, like many (myslef included) calculous was not his cup of tea and had to divert to another career path. That path was within real estate. He has been able to utalize his eye for design and help future home buyers visualize what their house would look like with some constructional modifications. As he gained more experience in the field, he fell in love with the flexibility that came with his career path. He mentioned that he loved not being constrained by a cubical and enjoys interacting with people and the outside world. He hope to be able to flip hounders of houses one day. To be able to enjoy this freedom and attain this dream of his, he conveyed a few tips that I feel as though can be applied to anyone.

When an artist or architect creates some sort of architecture, sculpture or painting there is typically a reasoning or meaning behind why the artist or architect created the piece. It can be either a representation of their life or experiences, an idol or someone the individual looks up to or considers a model

There is nothing glamorous about putting on scrubs everyday but it is beautiful to be an integral part of a patient taking an interest in their health. The oral cavity is intricately associated with the rest of the body and a fundamental, but often forgotten part of overall health. As a dental hygienist I have the opportunity to educate and help people improve or maintain their periodontal health. I would like to transfer because I have a huge desire to educate future registered dental hygienists and by continuing my education I will be equipping myself to be a stronger leader and mentor for students. From a young age, I have always wanted to understand other people’s thoughts and feelings. As I have grown older, I have grown even more curious about not only understanding people, but learning how to help them. With this guiding me, my future career goal is to become an Occupational Therapist. Occupational Therapists work with a wide variety of people to help them overcome obstacles in their lives in order to achieve a better quality of life. I specifically hope to work with young children, adolescents, and teens who suffer from emotional, mental, or cognitive impairments. This is due to growing up in a family who fostered challenged children, having siblings with their own challenges, and having many young friends who could have benefitted

Real estate is my passion because I love selling stuff so why not sell houses if I’m good at it. It’ll make me a lot of money so I can become a wealthy man. To me real estate is easy you go to people ask to sell their house and then make money off of that. Ever since I was in 1st grade I wanted to become a real estate because that’s my dream, my dream is to help people sell their houses. I want the experience to of how to sell and buy houses for my family and friends also. I read everything I can get my hands on related to real estate. I enjoy finding a home that is troubled, putting in the time and effort to gain the sweat equity and also to make it beautiful again and then renting it out for cash flow.

I selected architecture as my career. It involves a lot of my passions such as math, building, algebra, and designing. Architecture can mean: A general term to describe buildings and other physical structures.

Like other freshmen in college, it was difficult for me to adjust to college atmosphere. Once I comprehended how significant it was for me to get into graduate school I went to tutoring, assembled study groups, and fixed my concentration on my academics.

I am Demetria Alexis Crawford, born January 2nd 1999, right here in Phoenix, Arizona. I am currently a senior at Mountain Pointe High School and on track to graduate. During my four years in high school and even before high school I always knew I wanted to work in the dental field. I have finally decided that I will become an Orthodontist but I will start at Phoenix College first to get an associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene. During the year of 2014 there were an estimated 112,600 architects employed and approximately 20% were self-employed. Architects have a high competition for jobs and job positions are estimated to increase seven percent each year (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Degrees for this field of study can be found at many colleges including Kansas State University. Kansas State is a great college that is full of opportunities for scholarships and has a wide variety of clubs and degrees.

I picked this career path because I enjoy drawing. I also enjoy designing and mapping out structures. I find both of these activities to be very peaceful and fun for me. When I was eight years old, I had the biggest set of Legos. I decided to use them all on one huge house. So I sat down, began to build and I even started mapping it out on paper. I spent nearly an entire day building this mansion and of course, when I was done, I showed my mom. When I showed it to her, she was amazed and the next sentence she spoke was one that stuck with me for years. My mom told me I should be an architect. Most of my life I have been surrounded by children especially my cousins, nieces and nephews.

Architects are licensed professionals trained in the art, and science of building design. This means the overall artistic appreciation, plus the functional look of buildings, or other structures. They design the overall aesthetic.

I want to become a teacher because I believe that all students are unique in their own way. I want to teach because I want to know that I am making a positive difference in the lives of students. Also, because teaching will allow me to connect with students in ways I've never been able to. I've always felt joy when I am around kids, it brings a sense of excitement. To me it is not simply a job but instead a purpose and my mission. I believe teachers should not be alone in educating their students. Parents, families and communities need to work together to support and enrich the lives of their children. By being a part of your child's education, you are showing them that you care and support them.
