The president is constantly looking toward the state of nation’s defense. All major decisions and strategies are his to make alone. Likewise, the president is the nation's number 1 political boss. People look to the president as the leader for public opinion. Even though the president seems like he couldn’t take on many other roles, he is also the Chief of State, he is the leader of the rituals of the American Democracy.

The government holds a crucial status to its citizens, executive branch specifically, is overlooked to symbolize leadership. Being the president of the United States is one of the most prestigious and difficult jobs. The fate of millions of people rests in their hands. The president is the leader of their country. A good leader can bring prosperity wile a bad leader could bring death to a nation. James David Barbers article, “The Presidential Character: Predicting Performance in the White House” addresses types of leadership and how the president’s personality can affect their success in office. The premise of Barber's argument in The Presidential Character is that he believes presidential personalities fall into four categories and combinations of activity, passivity, positivity, and negativity and those personality combinations can be indicative of presidential performance.

George .W. Bush and Barrack Obama two of America’s great presidents, both filled with their individual ambitions and charisma. These prominent presidents have ruled the most powerful country in the world using their different strategies and policies. George Bush, a republican was the 43rd president of America had two terms in power (cite). On the other hand Barrack Obama the first black president of America and a democrat was his successor. He is known for his charisma. Notwithstanding, their various good leadership skills and the criticisms, Obama has been a better and more successful president United States than George Bush. Despite the fact that his presidency being criticized for being a failure he has done a good job so far. Obama is showing promise in his policies trying fix the problems that were created by past American presidents in terms of handling the domestic and foreign policies.

One of the president’s main goals during their term is to leave a positive and lasting impression on the country. No man wants to be known for the way that they ruined the economy or lost the trust of the citizens because of their poor law making skills or their lack of leadership skills. The president that I chose to analyze was President William Jefferson Clinton. Specifically, in the America, majority presidents are men, and they are always the best leader of the country. Not embarrassed when everyone talked like this because right now the U.S is one of the most country developing fastest all over the world. Some president’s men everybody usually mention such as George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and John F. Kennedy. All of them are the best presidents whom every resident who live in the U.S are proud of them. However, to keep and have these situations are not easy. For instance, President Richard Nixon, the 37th U.S president, was the only commander-in-chief to resign from his position, after the 1970s Watergate scandal. A movie “All president’s man” is one of the best movie, which was, exposed the scandal of president Nixon when he was re-elected in the chair of president in White House. In my opinion that according this movie, media was observed on a lot of areas that were invisible for a long time.

Over time there has been alot of president's that has been in and out of the white house. Some of the president's have done a great job in office some president's didn't do so good in the white house. People in general have all sorts of different opinions on president's some people may say one president was the best while another person may disagree. Skowronek looks at all the presidents over the course of American history and puts them into one of four classifications. Skowronek looks, in detail, that the presidency of both Clinton and W.Bush. President Barack Obama does not have a classification in this book, so we will attempt to assign him a category based on his work. The American Presidency entails more than meets the eye, and Skowronek is trying to categorize presidents based on more than just what the public sees.

This leaves room for there to be a good president who may not accomplish much and a bad president who may accomplish a lot.

As the presidential race comes close to the primary it will mean an end for Obama’s term. In a recent interview, he asked the question that most American had on their mind. Which was if he could would he yearn for a third term, to which he responded “no because he's confident that things are the lot better in the United States than when he came into office’. In fact is true while in office he’s done so much good just like he promised that he would, for example, decreasing unemployment rate, and increasing more jobs and countless other examples. But where no stranger to the fact that there’s still more work to be done in the world and he acknowledge that maybe the next person that he hands the key will hope that they can do as much as possible to help this country.

As the United States prepares for the coming presidential race in 2016, circumstances throw into question which qualities a candidate should possess in order to be successful and make a positive impact on the nation. Looking into the past, one can surmise that the best leaders must be brave, and filled with indomitable courage, compassion, and hope. The president is one leading millions and making key decisions which have enormous ramifications. As the leader of a nation, he or she speaks out in times of joy and crisis, setting the tone for the entire government body.
