Attending college has been one of my goal setting because it would take me to the next level in life in order for me to be a successful person. Also, others around the world do not have the same education that I have and to not attend college means I would be throwing something away that others would like to have. One person that has motivated me was my mother because she had to drop out of middle school to go help her parents with work and pushes me to go beyond my limits.

As he grows older I want him to undersand that education is key to success. I would like him to know that hard work pays off,and he can do anything he puts his mind to. I will be able to provide for my family and have a little fun. My last purpose is having somehting to be proud of by finishing what i started. My college journy started when i was 17 and inmuture. What motivates me most to pursue a college degree is opening new doors for career options and inspiring my daughter through my own actions to pursue lifelong learning. I have waited until this point in my life to take this first step for many reasons. I feel that I had a lot of fear of failure that kept me from pursuing this higher learning. I am in the right place mentally at this stage in my life and feel like I can fully invest in this experience and make it truly a success and representation of what I can do. I am also highly motivated by the fact that my career is truly stalled because I am not competition for someone that has equal experience and a degree. I plan to conquer that competition through this process.
As the first generation of college-educated individuals in my family, I would be setting a positive precedent for future generations. I want to be a role model to my children and grandchildren, motivating them to achieve their goals. My going to college would be an important step in helping my family achieve upward social mobility. Furthermore, I would be making my parents proud. They would know that their hard work had paid off, as their daughter was able to attend college and achieve lofty career goals.
Motivation: what motivates me malls to pursue a college degree? I think what motivates me the most to pursue a college degree is the fact that I started this process and never finished. The motivation for me is to finish what I had started and to conquer the things that I've always wanted in my life and to reach for the goals that I've always set for myself before family and life and all of its events came into play that caused me to put my college goals on hold. I'm a strong believer on not given up on anything and completing the task that I started so for my motivation is to get my degree and know that I completed something that I set out to do.

Higher education is everything now, even with the rising cost of an already mouth-dropping price. Yet, students accept the lifetime of debt to achieve their aspirations. For me, going to college enables my set an example for my younger siblings and cousins while granting me the opportunity to spend time doing what I love learning. Even though I am staying in state, going to the University of Arizona allows me to learn independence in a secure environment.
What motivates me to go to college,to put hard work in,day after day, and to achieve my goals in higher education is my parents and myself. Since I started elementary school my parents have always motivated me to go to college. I was always a good student, but, when I had entered seventh grade, it all changed. I really did not care about school, i have been just whatever about school period. Then it hit me again in my junior year of high school. Freshman and sophomore I was not really interested in school and didn 't think I was going to college. My parents had a talk with me and that talk changed me. They were just asking me what am I going to do with my life if I didn 't go on with school and all this other stuff that made me think really hard. I didn 't want to make my parents think that their son was a failure, they raised a failure. I changed my ways and started doing better in school and now I am currently attending Cal State University of Los Angeles. Now they are more proud than ever, me being the first one in my family to attend a university. My parents will always be my biggest motivators.
I want to make them proud! I do not want to keep the cycle of just being another girl who just gets married, was not educated, and did not succeed in life. At times I just sit back and imagine in ten years what will be of me if I graduate from college. I can finally experience that comfortable life style. I can finally become whatever I want. I can finally know what a six digit salary is! All of this motivates me to go to college. Being able to start from the bottom, to rise to get a stable lifestyle is my
Attending college has always been a dream for me. I will be the first from my family who will have the opportunity to attend a 4 year. Throughout my childhood I would always receive motivation from my family because they all believed I had a bright future ahead of me. I've always enjoyed helping others and being someone they could trust. Entering 4th grade I was transferred to a different school, I will never forget the support that I received from my teacher throughout that school year, She impacted the way I learned and how I improved immensely. Since elementary I knew I wanted to become someone important in peoples lives and I knew becoming a teacher would fulfill that
I 'm a college student on a typical college student 's budget, and I moved into my apartment about a year ago. Let me tell you this, I just now decorated my room. Yes, I spent an entire year staring at stark white walls, with nothing but last years calendar and my celebrity crush of the moment hanging o the wall beside my bed. There 's nothing inviting about an undecorated room, in fact it 's sort of depressing, and I wouldn 't recommend it to anyone. No matter what your budget, decorating is important and can be done. Here 's how I gave my room a personal touch for less than $100. Like most people the first thing I thought of to decorate my walls with were pictures. Little did I know how expensive pictures could be. I first looked for framed pictures at discount retailers like Target, figuring I could get a good deal. Wrong. Even their smaller pictures cost about $30, and while that isn 't really expensive, it was just a tad bit more than I wanted to spend on one item. I did come across a rather small rectangular picture for $10 in the sale bin at Rite Aid, and a matching pillar candle for the same price at Kmart, but those items ended up in my bathroom so they don 't count towards the total for my room. The point is, however, that we can 't discriminate against those really cheap shops. To find good pictures for a really low price I recommend going to unexpected places, such as Rite Aid. Believe it or not, you might just find one or two items you like. If all else fails,
