As a student of Memphis, I think that equality should be present now than it ever was in the past. But still, to this day, our economy has not been promoted into becoming equal. With some difficulties, we accomplished our tasks. As a group, we chose an answer. That is the 500k should be divided equally by 50k each. Although my group decided to split the budget equally. I, however, think that the budget should be split in a ranking of the most important job to least important. That meaning the important job gains more money than the least important. As an individual, I would distribute the budget to 3 qualities. The reason being a job qualification, skills, and the economic system which all play a role in society. Job qualification is important

I would do this by stating that a compensation professional can be a full time employee that knows the company and what the company need, they can be cost effective, and there is a level of commitment. When discussing knowing a company, this also means knowing the customers and the competition. The compensation professional can learn who the customers are, what the needs are of the customer, and even why they actually buy or use the service. With the compensation professional being full time, the employee can do the research needed to find this information. They can also aid in the process of find the ends and out of the competition. To meet the requirements desired by the President and Vice President of the Acme Corporation, I believe that they will only need four servers, considering it is such a small business of less than 20 people. All of the servers will be running Windows Server 2008 R2. The following servers will be: a file and printer server, an email and web server, and an SQL server.

I work closely with other employees and Partner of the firm. All questions raised by employees on the files regarding the accounting and tax are answered by myself. If I am not sure I will consult with Partner. This allows me to regularly update my knowledge with any new update. Therefore, it is important that I develop and maintain a positive relationship with both employees and Partner. It also assists in the company to create a positive environment where I am available to answer the questions asked by employees and resolve the problems.

Of the options presented to me, each and every one have colossal ramifications tied with them. Employment opportunity and financial security, potential life long relationships, and several other consequences are on the line. Jason Fried argues that bringing people together to work in the same physical location creates distractions that inhibit individual employees’ ability to get their work done. Mr Fried’s identifies managers and meetings as a main cause of distraction in the workplace, but face to face communication is the real focus of his argument. Meetings and managers often interrupt employees from the task that they are working on. Employees have little or no control over when these interruptions will take place. After these interruptions, individuals have to reset their train of thought after the interruption, which then adds to the amount of time required to complete the task that they are working on.
This week has been a lot of “hurry up and wait.” I spent the first few days waiting to hear back from both Paul Vasington (regarding the 5G memo) and Kathy Farroba (regarding the local net neutrality activity). I spoke to Paul on Thursday; he suggested that I follow Nick Fetchko’s advice and look into broader telecom infrastructure policy since there is little to no 5G policy in most of the localities I looked into. There is no hard deadline on this, so I plan to start next week. Kathy still has not responded to my email from last week.

The acts we will be discussing are as follows: Americans with Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment act, Occupational Safety and Health Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and Fair Labor Standards Act. We will also be discussing harassment, diversity, and grievances.
