Isolation is a scary scenario whether you're by yourself or with another person. In the book of Othello, Isolation causes lives to be taken, because people want to believe anything that is said. Trust is developed then broken. Nobody is safe once trust is gone. In this story the isolation that causes problems all revolves around iago and his lies. In every partnership or friendship you need trust, care, and loyalty for it to be successful.
First we will talk about trust. In this tale there's a lot of trust. The friendships and relationships are beyond good in the beginning and then Iago steps in and shows you what isolation can do, ruining everyone's lives. Iago did a great job with this, “If i can fasten but one up uupon him with that which he hath drunk tonight already, he’ll be as full of quarrel and offense as my young and mistress dog” (2.3.49-52). He knows if he can get people alone, his manipulating skills are tremendous. So to get someone to do something or to get someone to believe something is very easy for him. Fake caring for someone is not a smart thing to do, it's so twisted and unfair to the other human. Iago manipulates everyone in the story to make them think he would never do something to hurt them, “The moor already changes with my poison”(3.3.373). Which shows the moor is at his knees so blinded by Iago's plan and Iago knows it. Iago has put so much work into this plan that he had to get to Othello's feelings before he could break Othello. So he served Othello and when he proves he is a good man he breaks him. Iago said that Othello takes amn for their word, so Iago is going to crush him with lies that he will believe.(1.3.440-441). This is a genius plan if you are sick in the head, and can stand your enemy for that
