Serial killers are probably one of the most horrified subjects ever. I mean could you imagine being killed? By a person who sees you’ve done something so wrong to them and you may not even know their name? Maybe they’re just crazy and you’re their innocent victim, or maybe it’s all a part of revenge. The thoughts running through the killer and victims heads, are unrevealed. The gruesome facts, are stomach turning. The way the killers or survivors describe what happened, would make you very paranoid. Don’t say it wouldn’t ever happen in your home- town. Because it has, it has happened right here in Arkansas.
One of the first means of profiling a mass murderer is by their type. Mass murders can range anywhere in the organized or unorganized type. Typically, an organized mass murderer carefully plans out much of the crime he is about to commit. A disciple killer is an example of an organized mass murderer. They are usually followers of a charismatic leader, who influences them into killing any victim he directs them to. One disciple killer case would be that of Leslie Van Houton, a 16 year old girl who was persuaded by Charles Manson to murder for him. Another type of organized mass murderer would be known as the pseudo commando. This type of mass murderer stockpiles exotic weapons in their home and often wears battle fatigues. Pseudo commandos
Serial Killer: (n) A serial killer is a person who murders three or more people, usually in service of abnormal psychological gratification; ex. Charles Albright. His childhood was quite unusual, being that he started out life as an orphan and was adopted by foster parents Delle and Fred Albright. He did exceptionally well in school and was even able to skip two grades. He got his first gun at thirteen and proceeded to kill small animals with it as a taxidermist, or in other words, he kept the hollow corpses of the animals he hunted and stuffed them to be lifelike memorabilia. There is no

Wesley Varnadore 2/15/17 Mrs Ritchy Research paper Serial Killers Serial killers are some of the most dangerous, maniacal creatures on earth. A serial killer is a person who commits a series of murders often with no motive and typically following a characteristic or predictable pattern. It is usually very rare but when a serial killer comes out of hiding, it can be very devastating.
Besides the Uniform Crime Report, there are other ways to measure crime. The victimization survey “in which a sample of citizen is asked to answer information about experiences with crime and the criminal justice system” using a cross sectional
A serial killer is defined as a person who commits a series of murders, often with no apparent motive and typically following a characteristic, predictable behavioral pattern. Research has found numerous key characteristics typically associated with serial killers. According to Hickey’s 1997 database of approximately 399 serial killers, the average age of the murderer at the time of the first killing was 27.5 years and were typically white males. More research found that 4% of the research sample composed of serial killers graduated with a bachelor's degree and most were employed with blue-collar jobs. Robert Ressler, Ann Burgess and John Douglas, members of the FBI, interviewed 36 serial killers who had killed or attempted to kill over 118
Rule: Homicide: The legal definition of homicide is the intentional, premeditated taking of the life of another human being.
I believe there are a lot of contributing factors to America's High murder rate. To blame it on guns if unfair when it's the persons holding the gun who decided to pull the trigger. Even if we cut all access to guns people will still find ways to murder other people. People murdering other people is something very common throuet human history. We kill other people for money, land, and religion. Since America is so culturally diverse it's only inevitable that their will be conflict between people. Some of these people who murdered other people are not psychologically stable. and many of these people will never get help and so their condition gets worst until one day they break and something horrible happens. One of the biggest things that irritates

First we will examine the Uniform Crime Reports (UCR) and some of the key characteristics that differentiate it from other reporting methods. The UCR is a crime measurement system that was established in 1929 by the International Association of Chiefs of Police in order to provide information at the national level on serious crimes reported to law enforcement from the state level and lower. This system was originally published in a guide entitled Crime Reporting: A Complete Manual for Police. The intent of this manual was to establish reporting criteria and categories of offenses.
