Homecoming was just three days away, though, which created a whole new set of problems for me because I had no idea as to how I was supposed to keep everybody safe from Abellona if she decided to strike. So after I had gotten a few more beers in me. I had come up with the not so bright idea to tell Tucker all about Abellona and what’s been going on up here in Mount Harrison since I'd moved here. I had figured that he and Owen should at least know of her existence just in case anything did happen. I knew he wouldn't believe me though, and would think I was just yanking his crank, but I thought I could persuade him if I tried my
In my opinion, the ending wasn’t satisfying. It wasn’t satisfying because I was expecting a little bit more. For example, when the whole entire band shaved their hair I was surprised. But, I was wondering as to why the girls didn’t do it as well, I was hoping that they’d shave their hair as well. Also, when Jeffery got sick and Steven couldn’t perform, but in the end he received an award for his drums. But, he didn’t even perform and he got the award, I thought that it was unfair for the other people that played the instruments. Also, when Steven went to Sam and she died I was heartbroken. So, I would’ve kept her alive, I would have let her meet her sister. I would let them have a reunion, then later on she would give some more advice to
“Well,” Mrs. Johnson interrupted, “how about we settled down and talk about our plans for the morning?” Everyone agreed and sat in a circle discussing their ideas. Next, they decided they should head to bed due to the early times they would have to wake in the morning. As they woke up, they put on their layers of clothes, grabbed their bags, and headed for the Johnsons’ business. They would be staying in an attic, which luckily had a bathroom, but would have to sleep all in one room. They set up their belongings and set rules which they would have to follow to stay safe.
“Hurry up!” Sam screamed at his brother Max. The two boys raced towards the gathering crowd. Today was the Woodbury county fair and Sam did not want to miss it.
Trent James was sitting on his bed reading a book. “Trent! Go buy a loaf of bread and a jug of milk.” “Here’s $.50 to get you and your sister some candy.” Trent went to his cooking mother and got the money, then left for the grocery store. Trent was walking down to the local supermarket, which was one block from his house when he heard a squealing animal. It was near, yet distant. He looked over to the playground and started walking to it. He heard the crying sound again. He looked under the slide and saw a puppy crying. He scooped it up and looked for a collar. He didn’t see one. Trent then carried the dog home. “Mom. I found a dog”, Trent said. “A dog?”,Trent’s Mom said. “Yes, a dog.”,Trent said again.
Then again, who would be prepared to deal with a hysterical brunette in pajamas that were barely clothes and a phone blaring “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” at ridiculously high volumes? All at five-thirty in the morning no less.
The naval officer took all the boys that were on the island to the ship. One by one they got on the ship and sat down quietly. Most of them thought about the things that happen on the island like what happen to Piggy and Simon and the littlun with a mulberry-colored mark on his face. Others thought about what they were going to do when they got home with their families and how their families were going to react. Ralph thought about his friend, Piggy, and how he got killed. Jack thought about his mom and what would happen if she knew what he did on the island. Everyone’s faces seemed shocked by the news that they were rescued. Ralph seem like he wanted to say something, but he was too shocked to even say a word. The naval officer asked the littluns what their name was but some of them did not even remember their names not even Percival.
“Wake up, Soldier!” shouted a man. The boy awoke with a start, knocking his drum over in the process. He noticed people bustling about all around him while they pulled on boots and helmets.
The car was silent as Ino drove Sakura to her pregnancy class. She hoped that Sakura would be ok she could only imagine how she must have felt. "Sakura how did it go?"
She lowered the knife and it grew even brighter. They hid behind the door trying not to make a sound. The tall, skinny lady looked like she hadn’t gotten any sleep in days, and was very concerned of the bright as the sun pumpkin in front of her. She gently touched the pumpkin with the knife, and it looked like guts and pumpkin seeds were about to splatter all over the walls. The knife went about a half and inch in the pumpkin and a very strong gush of wind went in a circle around the pumpkin like it was forming its own tornado. The lady slowly backed away from the pumpkin till she was pressed up against the wall like something was holding her back, in the dark tiny room in the cellar of the house.
“And the time I fell off a big rock and broke some of my tail spikes? You were there and even made sure I got home safely.” said Tess.
An Exclusive Look at Get Out’s Alternate Ending In a podcast, director and writer Jordan Peele disclosed that he initially wrote a different ending to his critically acclaimed film Get Out. When writing the film, Peele initially envisioned an ending that was much bleaker, which he feared may disappoint viewers. Shortly before production began, Peele opted for a triumphant ending that is both satisfying and realistic after the original ending was called too negative.
I glanced up at the clock. It was 12:18. Mrs. Ewert exclaimed, “One or two problems guys.” My heart sunk to my toe. I had langage arts next. Mrs. Berntson was coming back to school after her son went missing. My friends say that she is seeking revenge and locking up kids. I tried not to think about it and did a math problem, I knew they were exaggerating. The bell rang and Mrs. Ewert excused the class. I slowly walked down the crowded hallway. I turned the corner and could see her crusty, burnt door. Now I could believe my friends, Mrs. Berntson has gone crazy! I looked across the hallway and could see my friend, Will. You could tell by his face that he was scared to go in.
“You took longer than usual. Did you take a detour? Make out with any cheerleader’s boyfriend?” Evan asked. “I heard it was you. How could you seduce such a reasonable young man and use him to satisfy your own sick needs?” Steven asked as they switched places. It suddenly dawned on her that the only ones who would create rumors about her were her own brothers and suddenly she became furious. “Why would you do that?” she screamed at them. The boys flinched, they didn’t expect her to retaliate. “Do you honestly hate me that much that you’d allow a bunch of girls to beat me up over something I didn’t do? I ran for my life because of you. I was so scared, but I had no reason to be!” Her breathing seemed to echo throughout the house as they stood in surprise to Elora’s outbreak. She couldn’t take it, she wanted to cry. She was not a toy to her evil twin brothers, she did not want to be played with and pushed around. She let them fall. She sank to her knees and cried. The boys parted as her mother came running up the stairs. She too seemed truly surprised to find her daughter crying. She ordered the boys to their room and helped Elora to her feet. She cooed sweet things in her ear and wiped her tears away. They went downstairs and prepared dinner together.
Do you remember what I told you that night? That if I hadn’t seen the doctor pull Amir out of my wife, I’d never believe that he is my son? Well, that thought had been crossing my mind a lot these past weeks. Just yesterday, I took him out to watch the yearly Buzkashi tournament. Before we had left, I had sensed a sign of discontent from Amir, but I shrugged it off as if he were tired. Buzkashi was Afghanistan’s passion. It was not possible that an Afghan was not interested. While we sat in the upper bleachers, Amir often looked confused or bored. He would look up at the chapandaz then back down at his fingers. I had told him the sight of a book at the Buzkashi was unbearable, and that he could last a few hours without burying his face in one. Although his eyes were on the horses, I knew by his gaze he knew next to nothing about Bazkashi. So I decided to point out my long time favourite chapandaz, Henry Kissinger. Before Amir had time to respond, I saw his eyes dart to the far end of the stadium. A chapandaz fell off his saddle and was crushed under the hooves of the horses. Slowly, Amir’s face changed from shock to mournful. How is it that this is my son? This rather quiet, bookish, feminine
I was as frightened a mouse, we would get in deep trouble if we were caught looking for Atticus. I said looking at the jail house, “That’s funny, jail doesn’t have an outside light”. When were drawing closer we saw Atticus reading a newspaper on a chair. Scout made started running toward Atticus but I stopped him. I said, “We may not disturb him, he may not like it. Let's go home, I just wanted to see where he was.” I was happy that Atticus was safe but we needed to get back home so no one would find out about this.
