The first day of freshman year was a new feeling coming from the feelings of being the top dogs and now at the bottom again. The first sight of Dubuque Senior was as though I’m going to the wrong place. This place wasn’t a school. It was a prison with a big parking lot. I had excitement because of my thoughts on what high school could be for me because of the movies that my older siblings watched. Once I entered the school I could feel the potential and the aroma of great people who walked through these doors and became something great and useful to the world. The pressure pressed more when my teachers gave me my expectations. The school had walls as white as the snow on a mountain top. High school was this opening to make choices. High school is a lot like a wild jungle! You find so any different people who have been in so many different experiences. Each and every person acts a different way to you and gives you a different scenario. Every person you talk to is a new level on a video game and there is no restart button. In this game you increase difficulty every grade. If you try reaching a new level without keeping up with your peers it would be like playing Pac-man for the first time with a friendship on the line. The freedom to pick your schedule and travel the whole school is an excitement in itself. No one knows you are completely clueless on every subject. In my first few classes the transition from middle school to high school was easy and eye opening. The smell from both guys and girls trying to show off or hide their body odor made it extremely grows. It was worse when someone would not wear deodorant or just smell bad in general. By lunch time, I felt I had worked hard enough to want food. The smell of cafeteria food filled the halls. I met with my friends to debriefing of my thoughts and feelings of the school and
This will be my first quater at Drexel. From what I assume college finals will be a lot different from high school finals. In high school, I really would not do much to prepare finals. I would usually just study two days prior to the exam, because that would be all I needed. Typically I would make flash cards for all key terms and points and review those before the test. My study habits were not the best. However, having started college I believe that I have better learned how to study.
If Middle Football is Going to Last People Need to Get Their Head in the Game.

Life as a middle school student will be totally different from the high school life. These are two different things and way more things will be expected from each and every student now that we are in high school. It will not be as easy as middle school was because when coming to the high school students will have to face hard challenges that might throw them off because they are not use to it. After a couple of week of experiencing high school it will start to get a little easier. Do not to expect high school to go by easy as middle school. If my word could get to the upcoming 8th graders about life at Spartanburg High School I would warn them about academics, sports, and friendships.
Junior High is a scary thought. You are little and going to school with the big kids. It wasn’t to bad after I got used to it.
The Common School was established as an institution to help the elementary education in all aspects, as reading, writing, and arithmetic. In fact, the common school movement established the normal school as teacher-preparation institution, and elementary school of teaching for women. However, the common school was opened for all social level classes, and they focused more in a civic education. What this meant was the people were involved in their own self-government. Furthermore, the common school was divided in three part legislative stages. Permissive, encouraging, and compulsory, where the permissive stages were in charge of the organization for each single local school district. This encouraged a way to keep in charge of the election

In high school, I was very involved with the school’s musical theatre program. I loved to act and sing, and I was pretty good at both, but I never got a part better than being in the ensemble. This was because I was not part of the “privileged” group of students.
Everyone has a different opinion about Middle school, because we’re all different. Middle school is a weird time for anyone I think though. There are outsiders, nerds, emos, jocks, band geeks, theatre nerds, trouble makers, and a lot more. It’s the kind where you first start out to be in your groups we all have a purpose, but in middle school and high school we take it way too far I feel.
My life has been a test since I turned into an online student. Every day I am currently battling to adjust coming home from being at work all night, my life and my school work are hard to balance. Just to let you know what I do at work my positions on my job is housekeeping supervisor and I work at Parkland Hospital Tuesday through Sunday, and I leave home going to work at 8:30 pm it takes me 35 minutes to get there so I won't be late. When I get there, I start getting thing ready for my employee’s. So, I must start printing material that everybody needs so when they come we will be ready to start our meeting with the staff and begin working. We prepare rooms for the patient to be checked- in the hospital. With every one of these obligations, my work night is full, and I regularly don't have time to take a break before it is 7:30 am and start my drive home.
First of all, middle school students part-time job meeting and learning conflict, thus affecting learning. If we go to work after school and vacation, there will be no time to attend to study, so students will learn less time. Besides, middle school students are easily confused by the material society, which will lead to the wrong idea of making money in the first place, which will lead to academic neglect. This is for the middle school students, it is to pick up the sesame and lost the watermelon!
Towards the end of my sophomore year I went through some personal problems that caused my grades to drop. It was unexpected and I was devastated due to the fact that I set out to reach my goal of a higher GPA that year. The shock of my grades only worsened the situation and slowly I began giving up. I maintained average grades with the help of my teachers and I set a few goals for myself. My goals included, a GPA of 3.5 or above, at least a 20 on my ACT, and to overall try to better my mental state. With hard work, I was able to raise my grades and have above a 3.0 GPA by the end of my sophomore year. The start of junior year was my chance to accomplish my goals, but I was faced with even more challenges. Same as before, my grades began to
Middle school is a difficult time for everyone, but it was especially hard for me. In the 7th grade a rumor began spreading that I had a “death list.” On it was supposedly every person in the school in the order I would kill them. This was of course not true. Most likely just a reference to a popular anime Death Note, in which a high school boy finds a book, and when someone’s name is written inside, that person would die of a heart attack within 40 seconds. I obviously did not have this book. I was just an awkward 13 year old with social anxieties who liked odd things. Nevertheless the entire school believed it to be true. Throughout the time that awful rumor was destroying my life only one person stayed by my side. Angelica. She would assure
