Heroic Personalities In The Odyssey

What makes a hero? A hero isn’t someone who has superpowers but, a person who has heroic personality. Odysseus from The Odyssey shows some of the heroic personalities in the adventure he took.

One of the personalities he shows his bravery. He shows this in two examples, when he wanted to go into the cyclops (Polyphemus’s) den. The second is the bravery of going past Scylla, the sirens, and Charybdis. Odysseus was brave enough to go through those trials.

The second trail Odysseus has is being persistent or having the will to accomplish his goals. He shows this through most of his adventure because he is trying to get home to Penelope at Itica. He has gone a long way, he has passed The land of the dead, The lotus eaters, survived the cyclops
