A hero is defined as someone who makes and impact for the greater good. All hero’s pursue courage, knowledge and most importantly perseverance. A true hero never fails to let their courage shine through no matter what; it’s what can get them through any hardship. Winston S. Churchill said “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” (BrainyQuote.com) To move forward and continue successfully, one that shows courage will stride through even the most difficult and taunting tasks. Without courage a hero can not fully put their all into being the best they can be. For example, Rosa Parks who refused to give up her seat to a white man on a bus in Montgomery. Even though she knew the consequences, and where she standed on the list of who was most important on the bus, her courage to not give up her seat to the man set an example to all. Rosa parks actions led to the fight for freedom we have today. Had she given up her seat, and not had the courage to use her given rights, we would not have a bulk of the rights we do today. Most will agree that all heroes use what they already know and what they can continue to learn as a way to get through struggles. Even when they may not know if they have the certain knowledge to get through. A perfect example would be Ben Franklin,who worked his whole life on experimenting and helping the people. During his journey he invented over dozens of working experiments and findings we use today. This type of hero always has a way to come up with new ideas or recover anything.
