Combinations of color coding and appropriateness of pictures attract the readers to eradicate boredom. This brochure was analyzed and commented for readability by using Gunning Fog Index by my team member Hannah Quinn (Readability Formula, n.d.). She brought out the fact of this brochure with reading grade level of 5.04 estimated as it is widely trusted and readable (Quinn, 2017). I support the findings and appreciate for her work on this analysis. My point of view, this brochure describes in terms of understandable simple languages for laymen to follow in English and Spanish languages. They are narrated in highly comprehensive and readable manner. The goal of universal education cannot be achieved while the health needs of all remain unmet. Health protection explains how people maintain their health on a daily basis.
The disease progress goes through a series of natural stages (The Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada, 2017). Health promotion interventions/preventive measures can be applied during any stage of the process. The interventions and measures are to stop disease progression; therefore, it is a critical step of health promotion. There are many collaborative actions to empower patients to make these decisions based on the best of their interest. Primary, secondary and tertiary prevention are part of the collaborative actions. There are pre-extensive factors such as environment, economic, social, culture, and behavior factors which can increase ones’ risk for disease. The prevention health care is to decease or minimize these risks to hence the outcome. Primary prevention are intervention/measures that assists individuals take actions instead of preventing personal exposure to these risk factors.

Health promotion is a process that enables clients to control and improve their health. It includes education and preventative medicine. The better educated a client is the more likely they are to take steps to protect their health. The key is to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles especially in the poor and underserved communities who may not have access to adequate healthcare and education. Some examples of health promotion activities would be cholesterol screenings, general health screenings, back injury prevention programs, blood sugar screenings, and hypertension screenings. The health fairs we participate in are perfect examples of health promotion activities in the community that serve people that may not otherwise be screened.
