I was in my sister’s house having family gathering when I felt some strong contractions. I was in my 38th week. At the beginning I thought that it is just some Braxton Hicks contractions. Moreover, I felt that my baby is pushing down when the cramping started to get more painful. Then, the amniotic fluid broke so my husband immediately took me to the hospital. On our way to the hospital, I began to count the minutes between contractions, it was exactly 5 minutes. The nurses told me that I’m in labor and instantly took me to the delivery room. They hooked me with fetal monitor to see the baby’s heart rate.
