Raising a puppy to a dog is probably the most unique experience that I have ever encountered. It has various stages of experiences. Going from anywhere to about to rip out your own hair from your scalp to the most warm-hearted experience alive. I have definitely had to teach my dog a few things because when she was a puppy she raised hell as you can say. Besides the fact she was a terror, I wouldn't give her up for the life of me. Val, my dog is my best friend and the most loyal friend I could ever ask for. I always thought having a dog would be so much easier than anything else. All I thought they did was sleep and play for the most part; until I got one. I found my precious Valerie on craigslist. The moment I laid my big brown eyes on her little tan and black self, I was in love. She was so tiny you could've held her with one hand. So I paid the amount I owed and took her home with me. At that time, my husband wasn't wanting a dog. So when I took her home, I lied to him. "I found her on the side of the road in a box." I said. Even though my lying has never been conceivable, my husband knew what I had done but he let me tell my lie. He knew I wanted the dog too bad. After she decided to use our house as one enormous chew toy, that is. It was almost unbearable living with this dog. My husband and I had to be on our tip toes with having this dog. You left her alone for one split second she would destroy something valuable. Everything from the shoes to even the walls had chew marks on them. I will never forget the most valuable thing she ever chewed up was our rent. I almost gave up on training her when I found that. Thank the lord, that our apartments still took the money order. After a few months of ongoing torture she eventually calmed down from her chewing
