BBT should implement a hands-on training program to facilitate learning transfer. A hands-on training method is tailored for job requiring a specific set of skills. Individuals can be trained through a hands-on learning program to ensure their success and ability to perform. BBT requires individual repetition of skills to serve their customers and utilizing the following hands-on components: self-directed learning, simulation, case studies, and an apprenticeship will increase retention.
Self-directed learning creates trainee empowerment. Motivation is key for the success of self-directed learning and BBT will need to explain how trainees can best utilize this learning process. Content that is relevant to the job tasks need to be developed outlining learning outcomes and be easily accessible. Trainers can facilitate and assist the trainee if needed, but not required. Self-directed learning is a flexible component that promotes a motivated employee.

An apprenticeship is a combination of classroom and on-the-job experience. Minimum hours are established in federal and state laws to register as an apprenticeship program. Depending upon the BBT training budget, and informal apprenticeship may be put into practice. The main benefit for someone in an apprenticeship is the ability to be paid while learning a skill and BBT could leverage this model to increase their skilled workforce. Suggesting a hands-on training approach is an effective method for BBT to train their bank tellers. Trainers will have multitude of training components to coach and demonstrate, while empowering the trainee for success. Trainers can able to determine if the trainee has mastered the skills needed before assigning them to their role. Part of the Hands-on training includes doing simulated activities online to see how the employee can act in these certain situations. The results from these can give us an idea of how much in person train the employee will need.
The first three days a company begins their operation the bank will be contacting then so they can open an account. The bank also uses this policy and practice when it comes to managing and developing their employees. The Bank feels that training is extremely important. The bank feels that the training and developing will build up their employees so they are able to perform to their best ability. The bank feels that learning is a win-win situation. The employees succeed in life and also on the job (Shukla-Pandey, 2012).

All: As promised, I followed up with Karen Williams to assess her availability for a day-long Train-the-Trainer session for nurse trainers related to our recent planning for collaboration. Since Karen stipulated a 12-15 person group as optimal for training of this kind, I asked her about availability for 2 Train-the-Trainer days, since we have approximately 24-26 individuals (20 are nurses) to train.

As the debate over gun control continues to spread throughout the nation like the plague, everyone is trying to choose a side. Some argue that their Second Amendment Rights are being infringed on, however, when looked at in detail that is not the case. Many others argue the regulation of guns is not beneficial because criminals are okay with doing illegal things, therefore they will obtain guns anyway. There is much, however, to disprove that. These weapons are the reason why the United States has such a high rate of violence even with such high wealth. Criminals should not have the access they currently have to such destructive weapons. Gun control must be put in place in order to decrease much of the violence and death by firarem that the United States has.

Some of the different training methods are affective in there own way, but can they be used for continuing employees? One of the great perks of having the business simulation is that it can be used for all employees, new and seasoned, to be able to develop further knowledge. With simulations they do not all have to be complex, like having all the business processes of the organization. The simulation could simply have specific skills related to them. These concepts could include communication, feedback, leadership and team skills, problem solving, decision making, managing resources, budgeting, and the list continues. Essentially every department can have its own business simulation game to learn the processes necessary. This allows the company to move individuals internally and allow for growth within the company. Say they have an individual who has been doing accounting for the company and want to promote them to finance manger, they can use a business simulation game to have them better understand the tasks they will be performing as a finance manager before having them go into it blind. Another example could be that the company has noticed there is some lack of communication going on between the manager and his employees. The simulator could enhance the mangers understanding of how to communicate stronger, which can improve the satisfaction of employees. A training program that is well-designed is proven to achieve maximum results and meet the training needs identified during a training needs analysis. A well-executed training program will increase overall productivity and provide the knowledge, skills, and attitudes the employees need to perform successfully. This paper presents considerations for the design of a two-phase training program for existing employees – a two (2) day program, which covers the training needs to move the company in the right direction.
On-Job Training (OJT) is normally included as part of the New Hire Training, post completion of Classroom / Buddy Training. In most businesses / accounts (back-office business) in Wipro BPO, an OJT program exists but not in a structured form. In most cases it does not factor in / include all the critical components to help make a new hire successful at the start of their Job.
