Thousands of people come up with thousands of views on Hamlet, for me, this is the most powerful work from Shakespeare. It is focusing on a specific tragedy of Hamlet, prince of Denmark, but reflects the tragedy of the whole age. Discussing “murder, revenge, pressure, desire” those philosophical and ethical issues, Hamlet told us to build a society that is rational, orderly, and moral; and criticize human nature of evil and negative desire.
Hamlet is about revenge of Hamlet, whose father, the king of Denmark was killed by Claudius, Hamlet’s uncle and king’s brother. Claudius became the new king, married with dead king’s wife, Gertude, Hamlet’s mother. One night, Hamlet met his father’s ghost, who told him the truth of his death, Hamlet was so angry, but decided to find out whether the ghost spoke truly, he acted crazy, and managed a perform in which he added the scene that describe king’s death, resulted in Claudius left mad, convincing he killed the king, Hamlet swore to kill him, but because of so many reasons, he hesitated,. Claudius tried plenty of ways to send Hamlet abroad and kill him. Polonius, a minister who killed by Hamlet by accident, his daughter, Ophelia, the one Hamlet fell in love with, drawn under the pressure of her father’s death and Hamlet’s heartless. Laertes, Polonius son back to Denmark, decided to kill Hamlet to revenge for his father and sister. In the end, under the management of Claudius, Laertes and Hamlet both died in each other’s poisoned
Hamlet is a tale of despair and murder. Throughout the play, Shakespeare weaves a web of death, love, and betrayal that intrigued people of the time period and is still read widely today. The tale tells of the death of a king, and it follows his son Hamlet, the prince of Denmark. Hamlet's uncle, Claudius, takes the throne and marries his dead brother's wife only a month after his death. Soon after the ghost of the old king appears to young Hamlet and tells him he was murdered by none other than his brother Claudius, the new king. Hamlet then tries to prove Claudius' guilt and begins to slip slowly into madness. The key points in the plot of Hamlet are the meeting with the ghost, proving Claudius' guilt, and the ironic and untimely deaths of different characters. In the play Hamlet, Shakespeare draws a picture very complex and intriguing using imagery and diction.
William Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Hamlet relays Hamlet’s quest to avenge the murder of his father, the king of Denmark. The late King Hamlet was murdered by his brother, Claudius, who took the throne and Hamlet’s mother Gertrude for himself. Hamlet is beseeched by the ghost of his father to take vengeance upon Claudius; while he swears to do so, the prince inexplicably delays killing Claudius for months on end. Hamlet’s feeble attempt to first confirm his uncle’s guilt with a play that recounts the murder and his botched excuses for not killing Claudius when the opportunity arises serve as testimony to Hamlet’s true self. Hamlet is riddled with doubt towards the validity of the ghost and his own ability to carry out the act necessary to
Shakespeare’s Hamlet is one of the most popular dramas in world literature, as it examines the passionate, but toxic ambitions of King Claudius. He murders his own brother, King Hamlet, to overtake the throne, power, and wife. As a result of King Claudius’ fratricide, he inherits the “primal eldest curse” of Cain and Abel, and the dispersion of his venom ends the lives of several major characters. Including, of course, Prince Hamlet, who gets drawn into a deep depression over his father’s death, who later visits him as an apparition. This essay will analyze Shakespeare’s symbolic use of poison, embodied by King Claudius and the unintended consequences of his wicked acts.

Hamlet is Shakespeare’s most famous work of tragedy. Throughout the play the title character, Hamlet, tends to seek revenge for his father’s death. Shakespeare achieved his work in Hamlet through his brilliant depiction of the hero’s struggle with two opposing forces that hunt Hamlet throughout the play: moral integrity and the need to avenge his father’s murder. When Hamlet sets his mind to revenge his fathers’ death, he is faced with many challenges that delay him from committing murder to his uncle Claudius, who killed Hamlets’ father, the former king. During this delay, he harms others with his actions by acting irrationally, threatening Gertrude, his mother, and by killing Polonius which led into the madness and death of Ophelia.
In Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Laertes and Hamlet both lose a father by unnatural and sudden death. The unnatural death of the father is brought on by someone close to the son. When Laertes discovers that his father is dead, he is outraged. When Hamlet learns from the ghost of his father’s murder, he weeps, and promises action, though he delivers none. Both Laertes and Hamlet grieve deeply for their fathers, but Laertes acts upon this grief while Hamlet carefully plots his revenge and waits for the perfect moment to avenge King Hamlet. Laertes’ unplanned action causes his death by his own sword, while Hamlet’s apparent inaction finally gets him the revenge that Laertes has attempted. Though Laertes’ grief at his father’s death causes his

dominates the whole story. This can be detrimental to those who are trying to bring clarity to the viewpoint of others. In the text, the problems with incomplete viewpoints is evident in many circumstances, mainly whether Hamlet is crazy or sane. Showing the importance of other’s viewpoint, Hamlet uses some of his last words to tell to Horatio to not kill himself, but rather to spread the word of Hamlet’s true sanity. Again, this luxury of a near last will and testament is granted to those who are prominent, such as the inmates who have been granted an entire episode of a radio program and Hamlet the protagonist of his namesake's play. However, just as most prisoners do not get their fairy tale prison and release story, there are always single

In the play “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare the main character Hamlet goes through a series of tragic events that leads up to him going through lots of decision making, coping with his father’s death, seeking revenge, and unpleasant desires. From these points forward Hamlet went through many changes, including his attitude toward everyone including himself. In the beginning of the play the setting starts off very dark and gloomy, which basically ends up building a series of foreshadowing that leads to the idea of every single drop of evil overcomes all the good. The foreshadowing in the beginning is the ghost which happens to be Hamlet’s late father which he then shows up trying to convince Hamlet to help him get admitted into hell. This is when he first officially loses his mind trying to get revenge for his father by wanting to kill King Claudius, because the ghost told him that it was he who did so and he didn't even get the chance to confess his sins. Hamlet in general is a really complicated person. He slowly starts expressing how he truly feels, but is stuck between decisions. Hamlet states his claim which was if he should live or die, because he wants to get things over with and put an end to all his pains. He mentioned this in (Act 3, Scene 1 on page 124), “To Be or not to be--that is the question: Whether it’s nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous Fortune or to take arms against a sea of troubles and by resisting to end them.” In his claim he’s mostly just complaining about the woman who he loved but broke his heart by denying him and being dishonest. This is what led him to act in a way that he doesn’t care anymore, but then again, he is thinking that alone rather than saying anything to his mom about how he feels, because then someone could mess his future plans if he does kill himself it would also give his powerful family a bad reputation due to it being a sin. Not only that, but he would like for it to be pinned on someone else to kind of put it into being part of his own future plans by being sneaky. In the end of his to be or not to be speech still on (page 124 Act 3, Scene 1 lines 83-87) he says, “Thus conscience does make cowards of
William Shakespeare once said that “brevity is the soul of wit.” This is heavily evident in regards to Hamlet and all of his short, witty comments throughout the play. In Act I Scene II Hamlet 's wit comes out in full force during a discussion with his mother, Gertrude, and his uncle/stepfather, Claudius, with Hamlet’s very first words in the play:
