I believe that not everyone will handle a gun for self-defense. The possession of a gun is a sign of power. One of the bigger ambitions that one has is to have power and the easier it is to obtain a gun; the faster a criminal will gain power over an innocent person. There are many pros and cons when talking about gun control. Guns are our safety tool. On July 24 2014, according to CBS News, a doctor carried a gun with him and disarmed a shooter. One worker died but other innocent people lived. He used a gun to help others instead of killing them. Guns can protect others from harm.

True that guns help them protected themselve but there just too many people out there using guns for the wrong purpose and hurting many people who do not deserve it.
