The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is definitely the school for me, and I would be a great candidate for the school with the help from Granville Early College High School and everything they have done to prepare me for the college life. The acceptance call I got from Granville Early College High School my 8th grade summer, is a memorable day. My mind was everywhere because I was so excited and so nervous to make that choice in whether I was going or not, with the motivation of family I made the right decision. This was an meaningful event, experience and accomplishment all wrapped into one. It impacts my college experience because I get to have a taste of the college life, it prepares me to be a good student in the University of
Two colleges I would like to attend is High Point University and UNC Pembroke. I would like to attend High Point because it is near both Winston-Salem and Greensboro. UNC Pembroke is also a great option to attend to because I noticed that the campus is closed off which will help in staying focus but it’s not as close to the city. My academic interest is in natural science involving biology but also math. My social interests is doing activities in the city in order to have a separation from campus life.

If I was the principle of Metro High School I would use the four types of reinforcements to motivate the students to improve performance and attendance.* This change of policies would realisticly take place over long period of time with a good system of data collection and other types of control functions. It is also very important to have the parents of the children involve as much as possible.
Last year, at Kingsland High School’s Graduation Ceremony, Josie Hinze not only receiveed her High School Diploma, but also her Associates of Arts Degree before even attending any college or university. Fast-forward to one year later, and seven Kingsland students will be graduating high school with both their High School Diploma and AA Degree thanks to the collaboration of Riverland Community College and Kingsland High School for allowing high school students to take college-level courses in high school and receive college credit for them. Not only that, but there are several others who will be graduating Kingsland High School with transferrable college credit so their first few semesters might

For my Professional Engagement placement, I was assigned to a UNSW ASPIRE program school, Granville Boys High School (GBHS), an single-sex government school situated in South Western Sydney. During the Olympic Torch passing on January 24, 2002 students of Juneau- Douglas High School in Alaska were allow to go across the street to watch the event. Joseph Frederick and some of his peers held up a banner stating “BONG HiTS 4 JESUS” as the television cameras passed them. The principal of the highschool, Deborah Morse, seized the sign and suspended Frederick for five days for violating the anti-drug policy of the school district. This suspension was later extended to 10 days. The first thing Fredrick did was appeal the suspension to the superintendent. His appeal was denied. Later, in March he appeal to the Juneau School Board who also supported the principal's decision.

The third solution would be to close both Arthur Hill and Saginaw High school and build a new high school. This solution was presented by the mayor of Saginaw. The mayor feels that it will be in the best need of the city to move forward with a new identity. The mayor acknowledges that it will be a difficult process to sacrifice the culture, mascots and historical buildings. Both high schools Saginaw High and Arthur Hill have years of rich history and traditions. The new high school would be a newly built school that will be located in downtown Saginaw or in another central location. The school will also have an International Baccalaureate High school which will have an increase in science and math curriculum by allowing courses in science

Ridgeway Junior High School faculty and staff alongside some parents of students of Ridgeway find themselves in the throws of a heated debate against other parents on the permissibility of providing students attending this junior high with contraception through the school. Ridgeway Junior High is a low income school located in Maryland, where black, latino and other students of color are in majority. In many recent years, Ridgeway has seen the increase of teen pregnancies, last year alone there was a district record high of 25 pregnant girls, which didn’t include students who didn’t report because they for example, secretly had an abortion. Franklin Junior High which is just outside of Lincoln Heights, where Ridgeway is located, is predominantly middle class white families and sees much lower instances of teenage pregnancy without having to provide contraception at school. The health class at Ridgeway is not that comprehensive, abstinence is preached, but not extensively, it warns of the dangers of teenage pregnancy and STDs,
At East Granby High School, there are no honor codes or a system that would cultivate integrity and prevent cheating and plagiarizing. This is troubling because cheating and plagiarizing play a large role in the school’s community. For example, some teachers have had to make different versions of tests to prevent cheating in the classroom. By establishing a system in which students would have to sign a statement ensuring that they would not cheat, steal, or plagiarize on any of their assignments at the beginning of each quarter, the community as a whole would benefit through the maintaining of the honesty of more of the student body. Even though honor codes would not eliminate dishonorable behavior entirely, the act of signing a statement would make those who cheat or plagiarize understand the reality of their actions. Furthermore, the principles within the system could explain the punishments that would be administered for the violating of the established code. The student body at East Granby High School would benefit from the formation of an honor system that would provide rules that made it clear that cheating, stealing, and
