Hello Mrs. Patterson it is Noemi. Yesterday was my first official full week of school and it is pretty neat so far. Betty H Fairfax High school is the name where I am attending now. Also I have not taken any pictures yet because my camera is not all that great and I get nervous just stopping in the middle of all the students to take a photo. Anyways I haven't really made friends (like one really) but I have made many acquaintances! I mean I guess that's good because they will probably turn into my friends later on who knows. Additionally, as much as it pains me to say, I will not be doing track and field over here because my parents want me to get a job. So of course I will be sending back your money thank you very much for that again! Anyways they want me to get a job because I got accepted into ASU and it is expensive …show more content…
OH one thing that is bugging me very much is Pre-Calculus! Over here they decide to put me in Honors and I got to say it it the most difficult thing ever! The teacher is not really helpful nor is my group. Fourth period is Advisory and that is when the ENTIRE school is in like this tutoring period and when I go to her class for help she just gets really frustrated with me. I checked out a book to try to teach myself but this is so stressful because everyday she is giving us more and more homework and I can not keep up with everything. Tomorrow we have a huge test and I am certain I will not be getting a passing grade, bummer. I will tell you my grade though if you please, praying a miracle will happen! Oh how was valentines? I noticed through instagram that the school made a valentine photo booth, very cute. This school did none of the sort, all that happens is fights everyday and videos going viral on world star. Yup, fantastic. I sent Teresa the video that went viral, maybe she can show you tomorrow! Okay well good bye Mrs.
Good afternoon fellow classmates, beloved family members, wonderful staff of Palm Beach Lakes Community High School, and dedicated Palm Beach County School Board Members!
High school is supposed to be the place where you have fun and a time in your life you’re supposed to enjoy. Movies often trick you into believing that high school is an amazing time in your life and there is nothing but parties and fun. In Bring it on, they portrayed the fun and exciting part of high school cheer-leading, however they intentionally leave out the tough times high school students’ face in school and in their practices. In other popular movies, such as High School Musical the students have no pressures other than the next basketball game. In reality, this doesn 't happen. The constant pressure is affected by the grade level you are in. In high school, students can be classified based on the pressures that are faced in each grade level into the categories of freshman, sophomores/juniors, and seniors. I am here to help you make your high school experience less stressful.

As a Catholic community we must seek to live the life that Christ has shown us, to serve rather than be served. Our daily lives must begin and end with the love for God. And with our strong faith community, we can achieve greatness in all that we do.
This year has flown by quickly and sometimes I wonder where all the time went. When I first got my classes I was nervous because most of them were honors with two pre-AP classes. I learned that the classes were not hard if I studied and did my work. I wanted to drop out of my English class but my mother convinced me to stay in. My favorite class was science because we were always doing something interesting and I connected well with everyone. I got the opportunity to be in the school’s Show Choir which was amazing. I feel sad because in our Show Choir we are mostly composed of seniors so I got used to them and now I will miss them terribly. I feel like they were my second family.
During the last three years of my attendance here at Mt. Edgecumbe High School, I could not think of a teacher who has influenced me more than yourself. You’ve taught me to not only appreciate music, but to appreciate life. I’ve spent a total of four semesters in your Choir class and one semester in your Accounting class. We’ve traveled to two music festivals through Choir class, which are two of my most memorable experiences here in MEHS. I’ve also been apart of the MEHS award-winning Radio Club under your supervision. You’ve certainly witnessed my development as a maturing adult. It would be an honor to have a letter of recommendation from a teacher like yourself. Thank you for making my high school years enjoyable. If you choose to write
In my Healy education career, my year with you was very funny and surprising at the same time. I thought that 8th grade year with you was going to be very hard and harsh with you. Many people told me how rude and mean you can be. I was extremely scared about going to your class but I was more frighten because I’m in your home room. On the first quarter of the school year I was really struggling with my writing grades. You give me many chances to help boost my grade up and told me to practice more on grammar. On one writing assignment you give me an B instead of a C because I had no grammar mistakes. At the moment, I thought you were pretty nice and not mean or rude.
Thomas Jefferson High School welcomes a new addition to the English department, Jennifer Stephenson. Stephenson, who student taught with former English teacher and current CCT teacher, Matthew Santambrogio, now teaches Honors Introduction to Literature (Intro to Lit) and Composition and AP Language and Composition. “Ms. Stephenson definitely has a passion about the subject,” commented Santambrogio, “she is really involved and she is really cognizant of what she is teaching.”
Hello everyone! My name's Ally Ward and I'm a senior at South Stanly High School. Currently I'm taking CCP courses with SCC, so that I'll have two years under my belt when I start college. I plan to attend Gardner-Webb University this Fall and major in English with a teaching license. After I receive my major I plan to get my doctorate in English and then get a job as an English professor. I also love to read, shoot archery, ride horses, and spend time with my family.
I walked in, My worst fear had come true I was the last person in the class! At first I didn’t like how I didn’t know anyone in the class but then I soon became really good friends with three of the people in the class. Coach Barbour greeted us by saying “Hi,How are you” this caught most of us off guard but i thought that it was really nice and I enjoyed being asked, teachers don’t ask how are you a lot these days. Coach Barbour gave us a lot of information that day and it was a little overwhelming and scary. I felt like this year was going to be very challenging, not only in academics but also socially. I wasn't sure if I would be able to adjust to this new surroundings and expectations of me. Coach Barbour did however, make me feel very
It was that time of the year ,which was back to school, it was the day ,I got to meet my 8th grade teacher ,I was sweating and had butterflies in my stomach. It was coincidence to find my friend Sheyla at the parking lot. Sheyla said she has met her teacher ,but needed a few more supplies ,so she was just back from getting her last supplies. Sheyla’s family went with us to met my teacher ,and I was glad to see her because it was quite a while since I last saw her. Later, after we left Berkmar grounds,I went to Sheyla’s house and we hangout the rest of the day. It was the first day of school, usually I would be feeling nervous, but today I wasn't ,which was good because I didn't want have sweating hands and a racing heartbeat. I arrived at Berkamr and went straight to homeroom ,I found my seat and waited. My first day at school wasn't to bad because the only thing
Today is your first day of ninth grade. Same school, new teachers, but now on top. You’re a freshman in highschool. Crazy! Mom and Dad started dating in 9th grade (they won’t stop reminding you trust me…). This year is the year to know who you are before you jump into EVERYTHING. #1 thing is to have fun and try not to procrastinate!
Welcome to Ms. Booker’s class. I’m Claire, I was in Ms. Bookers A block last year, we were her favorite, and everyone knew it. She is very open about the classes she likes and the classes she doesn’t. So I send you the best of luck. There were some times throughout the year where we were pretty miserable, but we also had good days. There will be a lot of times through the year when everyone will be jealous of the things she gives you and the perks of being in her class.
One beautiful Monday morning, everything was calm (for now). I woke up very fresh, excited, and ready to go to school! It was a nice and sunny day, the best way to start a week. I woke up at 6:00 a.m and had a lot of time to get ready for the school day. After that I wore my clothes, did my hair, and brushed My teeth. Next, I had breakfast that included cereal, milk, and apple juice. My sister and I went outside and saw that my dad was waiting for us to get in the car, so that he can take us to school.
The first day of middle school was a new deal for me. I woke up early, ate, and got dressed. Got in my dad’s car and was on my way to school. Arriving, I was a little nervous because I was gonna be down in the hallways with the big kids. Grabbing my backpack I go inside. Once inside, I meet my friends and go to my locker. Then, I go to my first class which was History with Mr. Gunn. First hour went smoothly and after that was second hour. Heading into Mr. Jung’s class which he taught math. Math was not one of my favorite subjects. After that, we had English with Mrs. McCord. Hearing from the class above me, they said that she was a strict teacher. Coming into the class I was a little scared. But, she was really nice and was a fun teacher. The best part of her English class was doing our journals. I really liked expressing what I did and looked forward to that every Monday. Next, the middle schoolers had lunch. Us being six graders we had to wait until the 8th and 7th graders went through and then we went. Lunch being over we had PE/Health. This was my favorite class because I like doing sporty stuff. The bad thing about having PE after lunch was that once we did the mile all the food wouldn’t settled yet and I would puke. After PE, was reading with Mrs. McCord. We had Mrs. McCord twice in six grade: once for English and then for reading. Next, I had study hall. This is when I tried to get all my homework done because there wasn’t that many people in the study hall. After
