Global warming is affecting oceans and seas, they temperature is increasing and is becoming higher the concentrations of carbon dioxide, making the oceans more acidic, Is impacting the coral reefs, the are at risk, there are dying, and important fact is that in 2050 is the global warming remain, the coral will die, including the animals that live in there. Marine pollution should be stopped because it is the cause of many problems and if something is done about it, people will see an increase in sea life and healthier waters. It makes its way into the ocean and kills marine life. Ocean pollution is affecting the way of fisherman and their everyday lives. It is also very bad on the community because pollution is very bad on tourism. Ocean pollution should be stopped because it is poorly affecting marine life, it is not good for fishermen, and is very bad on tourism.

People from undeveloped countries are highly the main reason for pollution in the ocean. These countries contribute to pollution because they dump their sewage water and substances into the ocean. That is both disrespectful to the animals in the water and it’s horrible pollution to the ocean waters. These countries are causing marine life to suffer from the toxins in the sewer. These countries are also causing people to not be aware of their surroundings and if these countries don't tell people about how to treat the marine life right. By not polluting and disrespecting the ocean they will have zero resources left.

Some animals can you keep up with this but Animals such as penguins, polar bears, and even ringed seals are in danger. Polar bears are known to be strong swimmers but can they swim forever?. Ocean is the largest water body that covers 70% of the Earth’s surface. In this giant pool, thousands of known and unknown species thrive and create massive food web and environment. For several centuries ocean had and still is providing us with seafood, salt, minerals, transportation, and even leisure. However, in return, humans had leaked toxic chemicals, dumped trash, over-captured fishes and sea organisms, and destroyed environment and geography. Also, due to humans’ ever growing carbon usage from burning fossil fuel had made Earth and ocean temperature unnaturally hot. Today, as the result, the ocean had become a rotten pot of seafood and toxin. Although regret is always too late, if people realize this danger as an imminent threat and change, it is possible to revive the ocean.

People are still dumping garbage in the ocean and putting nuclear waste at the bottom of it. These acts kill multiple species of animals. which results in the lack of biodiversity in the ocean. An entire coral reef and its inhibitors like fish and sea sponges can die all because of one oil spill or pile of garbage. Once that coral idea the fish living inside of it will die or have to be moved because there home was lost. Some people say, “But we don't have to rely on the ocean to survive why does it matter?” The reality is that humans do rely on animals in the oceans. Everything in this world we use comes from the ocean in some way. The air we breathe, the water we drink, even the products we use day to day, would not be possible without the ocean. That's why the issue of ocean pollution is so important and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. We depend on the ocean for so much in our life, without it we would surely become extinct. People seem to think that since the ocean is so large and vast, we can dump as much waste as we'd like into it and it will never have an effect on us. However, since we've been polluting the ocean as far back as Roman times, the evidence of ocean pollution becoming a major problem is all too clear.

In the last 400 years, these have been the warmest and 11 of the past 12 years are in the hottest dozen since 1850 (Global Warming Fast Facts 1). Because the land, atmosphere and the ocean cooperate in complicated ways, it is difficult to tell what the consequences will be for our beautiful planet (World Book 383).

Marine life is an important aspect of not just the community but to the whole entire world. Little do people know but the ocean itself holds sixty percent of oxygen contributing to human life that not only we the people need to survive, but creatures too. The interested audience would not only be officials but humans that care about the wildlife and the environment for not only there kids in the future but for a better life. In this essay I will explain the issues that the world is facing pollution, what can we do protect it and how are we going to do so.

Since ocean temperatures are rapidly rising, ice caps cannot stand up to them and therefore are melting at a quick rate, which is not good for the ecosystem. “Heat stored in the ocean is one of the most important diagnostics for global warming because 90% of additional heat is stored there and only 2% in the atmosphere.” (Stefan 2013). This must mean that the warming ocean temperatures are affecting the ice caps because the ice can only absorb so much heat. That leads to more melted ice caps which can cause more ocean temperatures rising, as well as the loss of many homes for native animals.
