George Washington was one of nine brothers and sisters. He had two sisters and six brothers. This caused his education to be far less than any of the other commanders and less than the other Founding Fathers. Despite his lack of education, Washington still led the crossing of the Delaware River. This gave us a major advantage over the British, as well as killing 1,400 British soldiers. Without George Washington we never would have crossed the Delaware River and gained a major advantage over the British. He was impactful because he took an important part of the Revolutionary War that helped us win it. He was also unanimously elected to be president twice where he then led us to greatness.
