George Washington 's strong, courageous, intelligent leadership was important because it brought the victory of the American patriots over the British in the Revolutionary War. George Washington and his leadership skills made this a great place. He paved the way for American Generals. George Washington was a great man who also lead us to victory. He also gave up lots of things to be general and president.
Mount Vernon was a very mysterious place. George Washington retired and accomplishments many thing as a founding father. If you want to visit George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens The prices are quite expensive. “There was 317 slaves placed at mount vernon once Washington Died in 1799.” “Washington as surveyor through age 19; As Revolutionary War General at age 45; As a President at a period of 57.”Washington had inflamed gums and abscessed teeth. His teeth continued to decline, turns out he only had 1 natural tooth left. His wife Martha of 30 years watched her husband; She didn 't join George until mid May. She wondered when he would come home again. On February 4th 1789, the 69 members of the electoral college made George Washington the only chief executive to be unanimously elected. Washington was appointed commander of the Continental Army on June 14, 1775. He would not return to Mount Vernon until 6 years later. I wonder if he missed his wife? Or if he missed being home? He was gone for a long time. George
