From planning the first homecoming events for the class of 2019 to organizing the infamous Freshman Lock-Out, I have been a valuable asset to the success of many class events this year. From the moment I was elected as your class secretary, I was ecstatic that I would get to work with my fellow council members in order to provide my peers the best freshman year possible. By organizing our very first bake sale (and raising $202.72!!) to sorting through more than 250 student’s forms (so that everyone could attend Lock-Out), I have dedicated the majority of my free-time to ensure activities were prepared to the best of my ability. Several activities throughout the year such as our Winter Spirit Week, the winter spirit pack, and Freshman Lock-Out
This report uses the example of Melbourne’ 2.00 am Lockout policy to assess the management style and contribution that public mangers made to adding public value. The Melbourne’ 2.00 am Lockout policy was implemented as a result of an incidence of alcohol-fuelled violence and assaults which had been increasingly observed in the streets of Melbourne city of Australia from 2004-2007. These incidences were causing huge public losses in terms of injuries, death and environment of fear in general public, specifically due to binge drinking till morning. Under such circumstance, government executives introduce many interventions in order to reduce losses and create value for the public. This is discussed in the light of Moore perspectives
As Senior Class Vice President, I serve the senior class by planning homecoming activities and using social media to keep our class
The main focus of this article is to investigate whether the new lock out laws decreased the amount of assaults in the Kings Cross and Sydney CBD Entertainment areas and if the occurrence of the assault has risen around clubs more distant from these areas, and if proof of movement of venues leads to the lessening in assaults in the Kings Cross and Sydney CBD Entertainment zones substantial than the rise in the amount of assaults in the displacement precincts. This article will be used as my main source because it talks about the affect the lock out law has caused on assaults around Kings Cross and Sydney CBD areas and how assaults have been reduced due to the lock out law. This source is very reliable to use in my essay because it is from
Although in the past, I have neglected these school events, I have matured to see the importance of these events in the spirit of Emmaus College. As a matter of fact, I’ve gone out of my way to persuade my friends to attend these events with me instead of taking the day off. This eagerness to join in these activities, as well as the ability to encourage others into joining me displays great leadership qualities. Overall, I believe I represent the college with pride, in turn being an exceptional role model for my peers and younger
I just wanted to reach out since we'll both be DOC's this Thursday. I was thinking that since Wednesday and Thursday are both overnights, there will be accepted students with luggage from both nights that they'll want to store in 222. I think it would be most efficient if we could try to separate the leaving and incoming students' luggage to make things more organized. Let me know what you
In conclusion, North Carolina A&T’s 2017 Student Honors Convocation was an extraordinary assembly that produced encouragement to finish the semester strong. The keynote speaker gave vital information that helped clarify the importance of ceasing the opportunity and academic excellence. Life is precious, therefore every opportunity should be taken advantaged of to get ahead and excel in life, just like Angelica Rae
To start off the next four years, we attended the Honor and Integrity Ceremony. I was very taken back by how important the honor code was at this school. The amount of expectations placed upon me the very first day certainly conveyed the amount of personal responsibility I would need to have while
Car keys are so easy to forget, which is why a lot of people end up locking their car doors — with the key still in the ignition! Fortunately, if you find yourself in this situation, you can rely on [cn] for professional lockout assistance and general roadside services.
This year the people in office will provide many things for the student body. They all have different mindsets
Are you going to Rogers middle school next year? Do you like setting stuff up or helping around the school? If so join the student council!!!!!!!!! Read all about us in this pamphlet. What you’ll be doing. You’ll be helping with fundraisers. Like stuff the bus. And you’ll also be selling candy at tournaments like the annual dodgeball tournament. You’ll also sell candy on 6th grade privilege day and most of the time whatever isn’t gone you get. Events that we help with.As I mentioned there are events that we help with. We help with at least five
I have been attending Anthem Prep for five consecutive years and I am applying the role of Freshman Class Representative. To make it more interesting for our students to get involved, Anthem Prep has been making changes to its student life and topics relating to it. Though our school has made significant progress, I believe the upcoming student government will improve our student body and their lives on campus.
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who took time out of their classes. I'd also like to thank the student representatives and teachers who helped set this up.
I would like to address a pertinent issue having to do with our district policies regarding lockdowns, preferably school shooting lockdowns. As an Estrella Foothills High School senior, I couldn’t help but express my concerns for next year’s students. I’ve attended this high school for all four years and I am able to count how many lockdowns we’ve had because it’s been so minimal. How would we know what to do until it really happens to our school? I propose that we, as a school, practice these types of lockdown drills at least twice a month so we can be prepared at any given moment.

This semester we have worked to organize and plan the Service Learning project where we brought children from the Community Place of Greater Rochester to allow the kids to experience what college is like. I directly worked in the sports group. During this planning for the project, I participated mostly during the in-class discussions and also in when the children came to the campus. During the in class discussion, I mostly tried to listen to what everyone had to say on certain aspects of the project and tried to make sure come up with a plan that everyone would like. Once we got to actually doing the activity, I was forced to step up and take over in controlling the children. When looking at the time spent, I would say that it was around four hours, which included the planning process and overall time spent with the children.
