Leadership is a characteristic that is known to cause a significant impact to the world whether it is for evil or good. With the Forty Acres Scholars Program, I would be able to hone my leadership qualities by engaging in leadership activities with fellow other Forty Acres Scholars. Additionally, with the full-ride provided by the program, I wouldn’t have to experience those stressful nights being anxious about paying for college while trying to receive an education. With these worries off my plate, I can focus my time and energy on my personal development to become more of a leader and an influential person. And I’d most definitely use my skills for the benefit of society and not for evil.
The leadership skills that I’d develop from being

Along the way working towards my degree, I’d learn how to be studious as well. With all these factors, I’d be able to inspire and influence the youth with my knowledge and professional work ethic in the future. I’d teach youngsters tips on how to succeed in not only school but life as well so that one day, they could also change the world. Additionally, my education would assist me in attaining my dream job as a pharmacist. With the help of the Forty Acres Program, I would have fewer troubles in reaching my career goal, theoretically producing another pharmacist in the world to meet the demands of sickly customers.
The Forty Acres Scholars Program ultimately helps me change the world by molding me into a problem-solving leader and an inspirational pharmacist. My improved leadership skills from the program would be used to fuel the world with good deeds and prepare the youth to do the same as well. The changes that I bring about to the world will trace back to what happens here and that is me being provided with the chance to be a part of the Fort Acres Scholars
McDaniel College had first been created when its first building went up in 1866-1867. The school was the first institution that was south of the Mason-Dixon line and was coeducational. The first name that the school had was Western Maryland. That name originated because the institutions first board chairman (John Smith Wakefield) was president of the railroad, which had been called Western Maryland Railroad. The railroad had run through the college town. McDaniel had been one of forty colleges in the nation to be recognition in the New York Times education writer Loren Pope’s book, “Colleges That Change Lives” ("World Ranking Guide”). The schools colors are green and gold and the mascot is a Green Terror. There are about 1,629 students
Lane Community College has an opportunity to promote voting in Oregon when approximately a quarter of eligible folks in the state are unregistered. By adding a voter registration function to Lane Community College registrations, physical places to pick up voter registration cards, and providing links to official Oregon state voting information LCC will support students. And, not only will more students participate in elections throughout the state, they will also have funds and time reallocated to campus-specific campaigns that were previously spent on student organization voter registration efforts.
Being able to have anything you could imaging on your own pair of sneakers would interest many people. Your shoes will be an eye catcher and stand out in a crowd. If all of your friends have the same pair of shoes, and you want yours to be just a little bit different, with my help, that can be made possible. Because I enjoy customizing shoes, and I will need to have knowledge to own a profitable business, I am going to go to Germanna Community College starting next year. After Germanna, I will transfer into JMU’s exceptional business program, where I plan to get a business degree.
Future Farmers of America (FFA) is the nation’s largest youth organization that steers students in a direction of career success and premier leadership. Like most organizations FFA is very conscious of making career success and leadership their goals for students, so why might FFA be the best option for the students? This organization highly impacts students because it is an inter-curricular activity instead of an extracurricular activity. FFA is an organization well known across the country. This organization is perceived to just be available for farm and ranch kids, but this is open to help all students. It is a long-standing tradition of honesty, strong worth ethic and fairness. It provides numerous
It is an honor to have been considered a recipient of the One Future Coachella Valley Scholarship.
I would like to begin by thanking the selection committee of the Paul E. Hostettler Scholarship for considering my application for this award. I realize that no one deserves to be handed awards, but that they must be earned. With that in mind, I humbly list my accomplishments, not to imply that I deserve a reward, but to demonstrate my work ethic so you will feel confident that your scholarship dollars will not go to waste. Throughout high school I have successfully balanced school and sports, maintaining a 3.9 GPA while earning varsity letters in golf, basketball, track, and as a manager of the football team. I accompanied my golf team to sectionals and districts all four years of golf as well as receiving all-academic honors and Miss. Sportsmanship
Seeing a child who can't run and play, my heart is filled with compassion. Knowing that I can make a difference for that child, my heart is filled with faith. Seeing the child's smile of success, my heart is filled with love. I have been blessed to be able to attend thirteen years of Catholic school as well as becoming a Balavisx assistant instructor. These experiences have carved me into the person I have become.
To be the best I can be as a member of a military branch, law enforcement profession, or something related. Also a superior chance to experience what I will be doing in those professions, and how to acquire it. My professional success will be achieved with the work I put into a degree towards my desired field, and the experiences I gather as I work towards that degree. The internship program will provide me with a chance to see the real world applications and impacts I will be making, and how to successfully fulfill my role in these jobs before I even graduate.
I would like to take the time to thank you for your incredible generosity in awarding me with the Kelley & Shannon Gibson Bluegrass Scholarship. Coming to SUNY Plattsburgh, I was looking for a club that would allow me to express myself musically and would also help me to build friendships that would last throughout college. I am glad that the bluegrass club ended up being the club that provided me with so many opportunities.
Ann Landers once said, “Opportunities are usually disguised as hard work, so most people don’t recognize them.” We tend to assume that the things we do in life aren’t worth it but really at the end it opens up a whole lot of opportunities for us to show how hard we actually work in order to achieve our goals. As I got older I ran across many things in life such as, picking social science as my major, my grandmother being the one person who influence me the most, and loyal, considerate, optimistic being the types of characteristic traits that go along with my major.
I’m applying for the AVID program due to the fact that I believe that I’m a hardworking student. I want to challenge myself so I can achieve the best I can be academically. I believe that this makes me an ideal addition to your program. I have been told by people that I’m well mannered, helpful, and that I follow directions.
What is your official position at the college? How long have you been at the college?
I have a question about my Millennium Scholarship offer this fall. I am currently enrolled as a full-time student with fifteen credits and only offered me $960 which is only twelve credits. I think they made an error with my scholarship offer. I would gladly appreciate it if they could fix it before my school fees are due. Also, how come I did not receive a grant this school year? I did submit my FAFSA, but only offered a loan.
“While this therapy could help many countries in reducing their cancer rates, it is highly expensive. As a result, we are working towards increasing the affordability of the anti CD-47 therapy. Unfortunately, developing a solution can take many years, leaving those affected with no option but to wait until this therapy can be marketed.” With an overwhelming sense of disappointment, I leaned back in my seat as I learned about the anti CD-47 therapy.
I chose Mr. Kimbrough to write about because of all he has accomplished throughout his career. His success has inspired me to follow the career path of my choosing, as we both are recipients of The Scholarship Foundation's Interest-free Loan Program. This program
