For Dog Park
The dog park is a great idea. Dogs should burn off energy thoughout the day, to keep them locked away could be unheathly for them. Some concering points that were made in the passage was how the dog could become vicious from a lack of freedoom leading to being taken to the shelter. Dogs shouldn't have to held hostage within their own home, then act like wild beast when their walked. Having a do park will teach a dog to socialize and also interact with other people and dogs just as metioned in the passage. Researchers referred to in the passage gave a fact about how, New York City allow the citizen to let their dogs roam the park with no leash in result of that the dog-bite reports went from 40,000 to less
Before you jump to the hasty conclusion that I’m opposed to a dog park because I do not have a dog, let me assure you I do have a dog and am aware of my responsibilities as an owner. The principal argument for a dog park is “exercise is important to dogs’ mental and physical health.” I would take this argument a step further and state exercise is also
Dogs should have their own parks, because when dogs aren't getting the physical and mental excercise that they need, their behavior tend to get worse. ASPCA has a study that shows the rate of dogs biting humans went down drastically in places where they're dog parks. ASPCA also believes that if dogs had a park then their would be less incidents of dogs attacking humans, barking, and destroying things. Many dog owners have given their dogs up , because they started to act like''bad dogs'', this is because they don't have a dog park to excercise all their energy everyday. Dogs need a park just like humans.
I believe one of the biggest problems that they face if the dog park is bulit will be the noise. As stated in the article the average dog bark can reach 75 decibels and large
Limiting a dog's physical activity can lead to many other problems such as dog-bite reports increasing, crowded dog shelters, and bad behaved dogs. Adding a dog park will only befenfit the growth of city in many aspects. Property values will increase and lawsuits should decrease, because dogs are proven to be more well behaved when active and social with one another.
Studies show that roughly 2 million pet dogs end up in the shelter every year from lack of exercise or being lonely. That alone should be a hint that building a dog park could benefit us. You can even think of the park as a therapy treatment for your companion. It can also benefit a lot of citizens from Muscatine, because nearly 70% of their residents live in Rental units(mostly buildings), which means there is very limited space and areas to where you can bring your pet. The less freedom the more you risk giving your dog the chance to act out, destroy furniture, etc.. and you don't want that.
The need Muscatine, Iowa has for a dog park is a difficult topic. Dog owners have lamented over the fact that there is no safe and legal area for them to allow their dogs to exercise in. In oppistion non-dog owners feel that the construction of a dog park would hamper their ability to peacefully live their life. Whilst there are difficulties to building a dog park for the community, I believe the pros out weigh the cons.
Well, here we have two differentes points of view, the first one expones very good arguments about it, and the second mmm.... it seems only like a personal opinion, not strong enough, obviosly one loves dogs and the other one does not. Lets go and check this.
Both passages have valid points,But here's how I see it I feel that a dog park would be A good place for A community because. Dogs need sometime out of the day to play and run around and exercise. And A tiny private yard Isn't enough for a Dog at all dog parks provide the freedom to your dog to run around and play and exercise. And A dog park would also benefeit the dog owner by letting your dog go out and exercise and play, and training there dog it will become more obidient. And training your dog will help when say for instince your trying to go to sleep because you have to work in the morning and you your dog to be quiet with training it'll take one command and the dog will sit and be quiet or go to sleep as well. So i feel there should
The issue reguarding whether there should be a dog park in any city can be reasonably argued both ways. Some people say that the dog park would raise the noise level and disturb people's sleep, and this could be reasonable, except that in a city there are a lot more louder noises to worry about than a dog barking. Also, nobody I know is going to take their dog to the park at night time. Whether or not the dogs in your local city are feral or not seems a lot more important than keeping the noise down. Especially if dogs will be walking down the street instead of at a dog park, and there are always dogs in the city. This is supported by the dramatic decrease of dog bites reported anually in New York (40,000 to 4,000)after they could be a
I think that it is a great idea to build a dog park because just like that passage stated exercise is important to a dog's mental and physical health lack of exercise can also cause alot of health problems for dogs from the lack of being able to walk around for example dog obesity lack of fresh air and freedom also leads to dogs barking and destroying things in their owners home. another reason why a dog bark is a excellent idea because dogs need to socialize with other dogs and other humans beings because in some cases dogs will attack other humans and other animals from the lack of not knowing them. I think dog biting accidents would stop if dogs were giving the proper tools to release some energy and frustration. a dog park is also a
Would you rather have a dog park, or be the victim of a dog-bite? I would perfer to have a dog park for safety. Some dogs have a temper like us adults and can act up at times. Because it's our city ordinance for dogs to be off-leash in public areas, a park is needed. Personally I believe that, exercise is important to dogs because of it's mental and physical health, socializing, and bad behavior caused by dogs.To begin with, exercise is important to dogs because dogs can act out by barking and destroying things at home. If a dog isn't getting enough exercise it can become very cruel. A dog can obtain mental and physical health problems. With that being said our neighborhood need a dog park.
A dog park could provide the community with an great place for pet owners to socialize. As said by the ASPCA, if a dog doesn't learn to socialize it could attack other dogs or people. A public dog park would give the dogs a place to run and play
I feel that a dog park could benefit dog owners and dogs in a number of beneficial ways. By having a dog park, dogs would be able to get the right amount of exercise that they need. Dogs would learn to get along with other dogs and by doing that it would teach them obidience. Also, i feel that everyone, including people that don't own dogs, could benefit by having a dog park in their community.
A dog park in the city is a great place. Their are a lot of people who own dogs. This would help in the behavior and the exercise of the dog, it would also help with the socializing of the dog. which helps keep our dog healthy and friendly.
A consensus of many dog owners would be that public dog parks are essential to the maintainance of social, mental, and physical canine condition. A lack thereof could result in depression, aggression, and general restlessness in the dog population in any given community that does not allow for open yard space.
