Any individual looking for a successful future must have a working structure of a five year plan.Certainly, there are many different forms of this five year plan; some may be more detailed and specific as opposed to more of an outline.Regardless of which type of five year plan one has, he or she must have one.Without a five year plan, a person would have nothing to strive for in business, education, or life.I am a firm advocator of having and following a five year plan.In this paper I will thoroughly explain my plans for the future as best I can.

Hello, I am Cadet Senior Chief Petty Officer Lisjaneidys Colon. As the highest ranking noncommissioned officer I am the mentor of the unit or as some call it the “big sister” to all cadets. This is my fourth year in JROTC. I spent my first year in the army unit at East High School and transferred to Service High School my sophomore year. In regards to school, most students loath just about every aspect of it. Five brutal days of tests, mind numbing lectures, and bounteous amounts of homework that they must turn in the next day, is very overwhelming to most. By the time the fifth day rolls around, some students are so fatigued that they cannot focus on the various tasks at hand. The solution-a four day week. A shortened week could help to improve overall productivity of students and save the school money. Plus the additional day off could be used to ease the minds of frazzled students.

My first day of senior year had been just like every other year, except my schedule was very basic. The goals I had in mind were mainly outside of my time in school. I have learned a few things about planning from reading the case study on General Motors. The first thing I learned was that SMART goals are actually very common and once I knew what they were I can see how almost all businesses use them. Seeing them put to use in this case study was very helpful and practical.
