Many people go to Hawaii for a nice relaxing vacation, not knowing they’re right next to one of the five most active volcanos in the world,Kilauea. Kilauea had killed over 400 people in a single eruption. Kilauea is formed on a hotspot,or a place of significant activity or danger, this is one of the reasons Kilauea is so active. Kilauea has had many small eruptions, but the last large eruption lasted 30 years and was from 1983 to 2013. Kilauea may seem like any other regular volcano but it is much more dangerous.

It is tragedy that a language full of rich history and culture could be left with less than one hundred native speakers worldwide. The language of Haida from the Haida tribe in southeast Alaska has been through the Russian and American takeover of Alaska, as well as education and religion changes. Today the language is critically endangered and the community is heartbroken about the decline of language usage. The future of Haida holds revival programs in hope of the language returning.

This program would allow me to work side by side with researchers and conservationists to get hands on experience and beneficial information. I will be able to meet locals and hear how shark populations affect their society, while also educating local youth on conservation. I will also be flooded with information, like how sharks have managed to survive throughout generations through evolution and migratory patterns. There are more resources out farther west that we are excluding from our imperialism. Islands in the pacific have rich untouched resources that we can be taking advantage of. Not only resources but land that we can protect are our country from with military bases scattered across the pacific. Our enemies will have an extremely hard time getting through the minefield of military bases. With these resources and advantages. We could have a huge growth in economy and power. As a country, we should seriously consider moving further west beyond the coast because we would get rich untouched resources, military advantages, and have a huge growth in power and money.
American Samoa would be a perfect location for an open market. The weather is warm and tropical with an average temperature of 87 degrees fahrenheit. American Samoa has a population of 54,157 people. I can set up my market anywhere that seems like a good location. My open market can sell goods grown locally on the island or import goods that most likely haven’t been owned by local people such as raw materials like sugar and salt etc.

In Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, Lady Macbeth develops from a wife who will do anything to help her husband become king, to a lady who is living in loneliness and guilt that drives her to madness. She changes drastically over the events of the play, leaving her lonely, guilty, and dead. At the beginning, Lady Macbeth was cruel, heartless and wanted Macbeth to become king more than anything. After Macbeth had told Lady Macbeth he wanted to kill Duncan so he could become king, she later on said, “Unsex me here, and fill me from the crown to the toe topful of direst cruelty; make thick my blood, stop up th’access and passage to remorse.” (Act I, scene 5, line 40)

I am convinced I am the product of a/the Creator. As a human being, I am the highest form of earthly life, made in the image of that Creator, God. It says in the bible that he formed man out of dust from the ground, blew into his nostrils the breath of life, “and the man came to be a living soul.” (Ge 2:7; 1Co 15:45)
